Recently with the 7.1 change on dragoon, geirskogul now only grants a single nastrond charge which makes your life much easier
on burst windows. With the removal of spineshatter dive in early dawntrail and the rework of the eye system, dragoon’s rotation becomes easier
with less stuff to weave in between your gcd skills during burst windows.

What a great “samurai” guide!
I know a particular Dragoon main who makes guide videos who said Dragoon is dead because of Nastrond losing 2 charges. Dramatic much?

If I want to align CD
can I ask why not potion/lance charge before Chaos and geirskogul/Dragonfire on wheeling High jump/life surge the drakesbane? It seems like your potion falls off before your wyvernwind. In 7.0 they made potion animation much shorter so you can weave it with an ability.
This is a great guide. While it's nice sometimes to have longer guides that go really in-depth, other times you just want a pickup guide for quick reference. This one conveys a lot of info in a short amount of time without being overwhelming.
I should learn to play dragoon properly in order to have an excuse to show off my Cid Highwind cosplay
