Krojak Reacts to "Unwritten Rules of FFXIV" by Zepla

Krojak Reacts to “Unwritten Rules of FFXIV” by Zepla and I need to be honest with you here, there are some rules in here that I didn’t know about. On the other hand, there were a bunch that are just common sense.

Final Fantasy XIV is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) developed and published by Square Enix. Directed and produced by Naoki Yoshida, it was released worldwide for Microsoft Windows and PlayStation 3 in August 2013, as a replacement for the failed 2010 version of the game, with support for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and macOS releasing later. Final Fantasy XIV takes place in the fictional land of Eorzea, five years after the events of the original 2010 release. At the conclusion of the original game, the primal dragon Bahamut escapes from its lunar prison to initiate the Seventh Umbral Calamity, an apocalyptic event which destroys much of Eorzea. Through the gods’ blessing, the player character escapes the devastation by time traveling five years into the future. As Eorzea recovers and rebuilds, the player must deal with the impending threat of invasion by the Garlean Empire from the north.

  1. Having been a tank forever I still get annoyed at ninjapullers and rescuehealers (especially rescuehealers, I swear you ruin the fun so much), but at least I am experienced. There are SO many people struggling with tankxiety, people who would have enjoyed it if they just got the time to learn, so stop pulling for tank! DPS get to learn and healers get to learn but tanks don't get to be slow and learn without the extra stress? That's just bullsh't man 🙁 </3

  2. For NPC/object targeting through players holding "X" on keyboard make youк mouse cursor ignore players and interact only with in-game elements. (It's "target filter" function in system keybinds)
Useful when there is a crowd around summoning bell

  3. Lol at the people in the comments saying they'll let the heals die if they pull for the tank. I pull ahead of the tank as a healer all the time. Imho it's more optimal to heal through if I take all the initial autos from the mobs before the tank picks up aggro — that's less damage on the tank that i have to heal.

Regardless, I make sure to regen myself and will heal myself and the party if you refuse to pick up aggro. I've never died pulling for a tank who refused to take aggro.

As an aside, I'll respect the cutscene watchers in 4 man content. But in 24 man alliance raid, I think its more rude to ask 22 other people to wait for the 1 person watching a cutscene at the end than it is for them to join the boss fight after a minute. Its not really ruining their experience because they'll probably be on the floor anyway (especially in the current nier raids)

  4. 100% Disagree with the Tank one. If people start pulling for you tank specially the healer! You need to focus more on the game and start pushing more. In other words it is your fault people are pulling for you tank. Not all people are on casual time we got things to do!

Finish your cut scene, join us in the fight when you are done.

  5. wow 32 reaction videos in a row, it appears you've reached the end of FF i give it a week or two until Krojak moves on to another game, which is understandable theres not much left to FF as a content creator.

  6. Man I would have turned off tank stance, that is always a good time.
I see a lot of little selfish behaviors now, and the lack of greeting etc. Not angry about it, just something I've noticed since the refugees all showed up. Really hope most of these new folks can shed their old wow mentality before the bulk player base comes back for Endwlaker. I know it is hard to change the way you think but I think these games really do play better with a different mindset.

  7. The duty finder is pretty much dead in Chaos, and even if you make a party, it can take up to 1 hour to have people join you, I've had to wait less when I queue'd for the same dungeons and raids
