Losing the twins hit much harder for me. We first saw them in the very first cutscene of the game, on the wagon/ship to our starting city. They didn't say anything, but they've been there since the beginning. The remembrance ceremonies for each city-state, before we chose our Grand Company, was where we actually got to TALK to them (or to Alphinaud, at least). And since then… well. It's been a long, long journey alongside them. So losing them… it truly DID make me feel alone.

I like how those footsteps triggered Krimsons fight or flight xD
the twins are so precious, having seen them grow up from the smug, hateable little jerks in ARR to the deeply loved sidekicks at the end.. having them be the last to walk at our side for this journey was rather on point.
