Doesn't Synastry add potency to your heals if you use it on the tank you are already casting those spells on?
I literally never use synastry. It is infinitely easier and just as effective to just slap an aspected benefic on someone.
I didn’t see if you mentioned it, but you don’t need to memorize if the cards are melee or ranged at first. When you draw the card, you’ll see a blue or purple outline around the card. The blue outline cards are for melee classes, and the purple outline cards are for ranged classes. Once you see this, the memorization will just happen naturally overtime.
The card system got worse with every expansion. Now it's so bad it nearly kills an otherwise phenomenal healer.
