  1. If you leave the glow off, how would it even differentiate between most of the gear in the game lol. Hardly any gear has a glow to it and most of the designs in this game are boring as fuck, the glow for the ultimate weapons is about the only thing that makes them unique.

  2. Here's a hot take.

Unsynched ruins the content that devs put so much work into.
When ARR was around I figured they were gonna require a 50 synch to do coils and was excited for the content to have some semblance of difficulty but they introduce unsynch the moment heavensward comes out so that went out the window.
So was that a good idea? Well no, because if you look at the ultimates, content that still for the most part hold their challenge after many years, they aged pretty damn well.
I just wish MMO's didn't shrink every time an expansion comes out, you know? The precedent started with WoW really hurts a lot of games that follow that model. Not that I'm gonna pretend that all systems that buck the trend like SWTOR's current raid model are superior. I just think there may be some other proper solution to this.

  3. The thing about the 1% I guess it is because not that much of the player base is in the endgame at all, considering Free Trial and people who plays for side stuff or periodic, the game is huge, lets say for example 3 million people plays the game, still 30k people doing Ultimate and playing the end game constantly, still a lot of people.

  4. the point of relics is to be catch-up gear for casuals, has been this way forever. Its a big ass grind for the casuals to sink their teeth in. Its not supposed to be useful to raiders, otherwise it invalidates the actual X4/8/12 weapon reward. The sometimes weird wording of the sentences is because of the translation from JP to ENG. These languages are very different from each other, its almost impossible to convey what he said 1 to 1.

  5. I would also like to see in like a x.5 patch when there isnt a ultimate releasing for them to add New job weapons into old ultimates i.e. Gunbreaker/Dancer/Sage/Reaper weapons in UWU,UCob, and Reaper/Sage in TEA. This could be a trend that could go forever to in future expansions that add jobs, and make old Ultimate's relevant again. Getting more people in the funnel.

  6. Look at the amount of players in ultimate instances that can't repair in the instance. Perhaps there are more players taking part in Ultimates than crafting. Which would debunk the 1% rule. Because more than 1% take part in crafting for sure.
