I main PLD, but SMN is my secondary, so I am WELL FED this expansion. RIP to Bio and Miasma, but the new mechanics look awesome. I loved Miru's reaction ("IT'S NOT A CHICKEN NUGGEST ANYMORE" killed me) to seeing the proper primals, though I'm curious how the story is going to justify that. There was a reason we had the Egis to begin with.

They finally did SMN justice, able to use the primals attacks and have the SMN spells change depending on which primal you just used 👏

I boosted half of the dps classes and I play them fine I don't want think because I play on controller though
I love how I went into this expecting to see two new jobs and ended up seeing THREE!!! Sage and Reaper both look AMAZING but Summoner kinda stole the show with SE doing pretty much every idea I had for how to make Summoner feel like more of a Summoner in FFXIV seemingly without "technically" straight up summoning primals.
I am worried for all the Scholar mains…

As a fellow SMN main, I feel the love you feel for this job. Up until now, the job has felt like a Pet Mage, for lack of a better term. Only now do we finally get our wish and become a Real Summoner (TM)! I hope the changes to the job are as much fun to play as they look in this trailer! See you on the moon! ^_^

It looks like so so much fun! And the sounds! We are absolutely KOS-MOS from Xenosaga, and no one can tell me otherwise!
Also fun fact, Sage in earlier FF games, like FF3, Sage was the elite mage, being able to use ultimate black and white magic, and even summoning magic. I feel like they really did make an elite mage that attacks And heals, and heals by attacking!

People are saying RIP Astro because they don't have Nocturnal Sect anymore. Despite the fact that we knew AST was being redone into a pure healer like WHM, and the other changes (Divination not relying on seals to work, and the three seals now being used for different self-buffs, etc) being great.
