The thing about voice acting in FFXIV is that, well, there's 4 different languages they need to get it done in. If one language can't have a character voiced for some reason, the others can't either. For example, Yugiri had no voiced lines from in parts of post-Heavensward following the disappearance and death of Sian Blake, her English VA at the time. Or, on a less dour note, why Pipin has less overall voice lines, as his Japanese VA, Nobuyuki Hiyama, is quite an expensive person to get on for voices. I get wanting more voiced stuff, but there's just so much stuff to do that with that even if costs weren't an issue, there'd be a ton of data that's JUST voice lines.

The people of that region have got to have some form of ptsd with how often Ifrit is summoned in the story and that now he came back not only with a new form but there are two of them to boot.

Crazy how good Clive’s character model looks in this game. Hopefully the visual upgrade we’re getting is one step towards looking as good as clive

Clive's voice actor was amazing. It's a shame they didn't do voice acting, but to be fair, they have never done voice acting for crossovers. They didn't do it with Nier, they didn't do with FF15 either, but I'm thankful that Clive looks like Clive. Noctis looked like generic WoL with his shirt on
