I honestly hope that MSQ 6.1 to at least 7.3 is a soft reset for the world of FF14 with the our character just being an adventurer before we start the next saga of this game.
I wish I would work and learn from a leader like Yoshi P.

FF14 has a future in the mmo world I must say that eventually no one has the same work ethic as yoshi p as the predecessor before him showed that. He will burn out sooner than many of us think. You will need to leave this franchise to someone who is as dedicated as him. I enjoy the msq in this game. The rest is sort of basic stuff. It’s like a single player mode to me.

I can't believe that Ive had this game since day 1 I started playing when I was 15 >.<
Oh yes i started watching yoship's letters when he took over, i got a ps3 played through all betas. It was my first mmo, i remember ordering a ps4 and switching to ps4 when that came available. I switched to xbox 4 to 5 years ago due to psn issues from hackkng and to many disconnects switching ips etc didn't help. I stay with xbox mostly they provide better overall ,secure service. I bought in 2020 b4 pandemic really hit a new ps4 pro and played ff14 up until september. I was heartbroken had to leave the errors going off from when i would turn on my pro and perusing the psn ui, and the bad sudden disconnects from internet. I do not have those issues with xbox. So sadly, i'm waiting for ff14 to come to xbox. I'm 63 and would love to play ff14 again, hell, i live there loll.,i don't like with the exception of stranger in paradise and starfield the game line up. It seems game devs think all us gamers want to pvp and play fps. The big games seem to be guncentric, ff14 is wholesome and awesome.
I think the poem means we can expect wholly new Yoshi P-originated stories that can freely detach from the 1.0 basis, it could actually get even more creative and distinct from the Nobuaki Komoto-led foundation. I expect the live letter for 6.1 will reveal stuff that really shakes things up. Like, ARR still had to take place in Eorzea, you know? A land not of Yoshi P's creation
I'm 100% convinced the "next big saga" will revolve around Allag.

I hope the next MSQ allows new players to join without having to play through ARR, HW, SB, SHB or even END to understand what is going on. FFXIV needs a new entry point for beginners and a chance to more smoothly transition offline single players to mmo players.
