  4. I think the ARR trailer should be fine to watch, the creators did mean for you to watch it at the start of ARR — technically maybe there are spoilers kinda? but nothing you would really be able to figure out in any way I think.

  6. Hey Cozy,

    So the reason you see people thinking the ARR intro could be a spoiler is because there's 2 versions of this cinematic. One is the standard ARR trailer that you've watched, the other one plays at the end of the first raid tier, called the Truth in the Flame. Unfortunately, the raid in question isn't part of the duty finder, so it can be real hard work to get a group for, some of the fights are legitimately difficult, even by the standards of modern fights. That being said, I'm sure someone in the community can run you through it unsynced (so they can play there level 90 jobs) or failing that, I can do it 🙂 Do your best to see it done before Heavensward, it answers several overhanging questions and will give you new dialogue throughout the game.

  7. Allot of people were pissed when he got to Stormblood and dropped out. I'm just satisfied he gave it a fair shot and showed that it's not just a "stupid weeb game."

  8. As someone who has been playing FF for a decade, I can say I really miss when he was playing it. The influx of new players and playing with all the sprouts was so much fun! ☺️

  9. Asmongold had a multi-pronged problem when it came to the game, from ornery chatters to his real life issues. Some people say he'll come back when the graphics update is completed, but I haven't watched him in ages to know whether he said that himself or if it's just them huffing copium.

    And yes, there are some players of XIV who do get to be a bit much, because they are basically entirely there just for the reactions to story beats. Don't worry about them if they start coming around and enjoy your time in the game and making your videos. If they do start coming around, feel free to have somebody you trust moderate your comments before you read them yourself.

  10. whoever told you not to watch the intro for ARR was wrong. as long as you launch game, go to cinematics and click on ARR, thats fine, that's the event that the NPCs from lvl 1- to 15 keep talking about. So if you skip it, you're gonna be really confused
