  2. If you thought Sharlayan scholars were eccentric, Thavnairian alchemists are a whole other level of unhinged. Some say they can go for weeks without eating or sleeping, just chasing the high of a promising experiment! They got some nifty tricks for you up ahead!

  6. I'm a little surprised at the lack of reaction to the reveal of the Magus Sisters, considering how you've said you like FFX so much; did you never find them?

    And yeah, the Alchemists at the Great Work are nuts. RIP Estinien.

  7. Sindy Sandy and Mindy, the Magus Sisters… They are a recurring group of enemies in FF series. The most common is when you fight them is that the small one casts magic, the tall one is a fighter and the center one heals and resurrects her sisters constantly. So, you basically take her out first. Eventually they do a triad attack where the middle puts a Mirror spell on the tall one and the short one casts magic at it… Which makes it reflect at the party and deals a ton of damage 😛

  8. Arkasodara is named after one of Indra's elephant Airavata's epithets, those epithets include 'abhra-Matanga': "elephant of the clouds" and, of course, 'Arkasodara', meaning "brother of the sun".
    to contrast, Matanga you can find in Azim Steppes are of Gajasura which means "elephant demon"
