Crazy how this is such a big issue in mmo circles, when in literally every other community the freedom has always been there. Go play Elden Ring, go play Lost Ark, wow, Gw2, Cs, Valorant, whatever and then comeback on 6.1. As for Content creators its generally smart decision to diversify content, xqc has overwatch in his name but now hes generally known for being himself and play multiple games, no longer known as the OW player. Desperius FFXIV plays Elden Ring or other games, nothing wrong with that.

Why would I Unsubscribe? đ I love your content in general. I haven't jumped on the Elden Ring train, so don't care about it, but all that means is I just may not click on those videos. But why Unsub? I don't think I've ever unsubed from any channel. I don't plan to start now. đ
Take whatever time and do what you find fun, and when our interests align again, I'll watch those videos. It's like irl friends – maybe you both like comedy movies but they like horror and you don't and you like sci-fi and they don't. All that means is you watch comedy movies together, and maybe the crossover horror/sci-fi movies that come up, but you let them watch the horror themselves if they want to and they leave you to watching sci-fi by yourself if you want to. It's okay for reasonable adults and friends to like different things and still to come together to share the things that they both like together. đ

Just do whatever is fun to you. People may watch videos and subscribe because of types of content but they STAY subscribed because of personality!
I love your content. As a newish subscriber play what you want. For me FF14 gets quite boring a month before each patch. I have to play other games to keep my sanity.
I donât think you donât know this, but your recommendations are based on recent watch history. That plays a larger role than anything else in this being in the recommended feed. If your viewers arenât watching FFXIV content, theyâre going to see FFXIV content fall off their recommendations. Broadcasting the content to people with no relevant watch history, sure. I get year old videos of yours in my recommended that are way outside relevancy simply by watching two job guides. Same with other creators, if you want to make other content, go for it. Thereâs just no way creators making a living on the platform donât know how this works.
yikes, you have solid content, sometimes u gotta lose the toxic fans to grow as a community. aslong as you have fun im sure the real fans will aswell, every ones gonna have haters, just remember the more they talk about hating u, the more people hear your name the more who will check your content its like music.

As a previous âdaily MMO playerâ it has been refreshing to plan my gaming schedule and reduce burnout. I have been having a blast playing Elden Ring. April will be Wonderlands, May back to FFXIVâs new patch, June backlog cleanup, and July will be Monster Hunter.

Always play and create content for what you want…don't give into the hype or play for relevance.
Ffxiv takes too long to release patches. 3 months of pandaemonium would burnout most. Ffxiv would really benefit from a well made endgame zone.
Dude, I canât express enough how you should play what you want. If you only played / streamed XIV, youâd begin to hate it. I personally was so hyped for EW that after clearing the story I am taking a break (aside from raid nights). Itâs fun to try new things đ
Listen to our lord and savior Yoshi P and play other games and come back. XIV will always be there.

its always good to take a refresher from ff14 and play other games that you enjoy from different genres , also i wouldn't take the game in a hardcore level because games are all about having fun and experience the content to its a fullest taking a challenge is another thing for gaming. keep doing what you love đ ever since i joined ff14 i always enjoyed your content. stay cool !
Big fan of channels doing more then one game so when they get burned out of it or other issues they have stuff to fall back on.

Some challenges will take the fun out of the game and just frustrate you. What about changing your weapon/armor each time you die and never use it again? I think it is a good punishment that can be fun!
It's kinda difficult making videos about FFXIV when it's completely devoid of any real endgame (no, 4 bosses is not a good endgame experience). It's been quite nice seeing different content on this channel. Elden Ring and WoW 9.2 has come along at a perfect time where FF is stagnant and people are bored with it.
