Final Fantasy XIV is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) developed and published by Square Enix. Through the gods’ blessing, the player character escapes the devastation by time traveling five years into the future. As Eorzea recovers and rebuilds, the player must deal with the impending threat of invasion by the Garlean Empire from the north.

  4. Probably the reason why Mentors are seen as the worst has to do with that one achievement… Because I have to be honest… After doing mentor roulette for the 1550th time… My brain just stops caring about actually being helpful and playing the game properly…

  8. I don't really know where I fit. I mean, I have a house and do glamours but I don't really run too many savage contents, though I do raids and stuff to get glamours which are awesome, but problem is, this game lacks space for my glams XD

  9. Hardcore Glamourers are definitely top, but might share space with one group he didn't mention, which are the Achievement Title Hunters. In order to collect all the achievements titles you also need to master all the content: PvP, Feast, Bluemage, Savage Raids, Ultimate Raids, Fishing, Ishgard Restoration, Relic grinds, Triple Triad, Chocobo Racing, Vermillion, Mahjong, and more. They don't do things for the glam, so they're less visible in the community because there's not as much to show off at a glance. But if you spend time with someone like this it will eventually dawn on you that, 'omg this guy has everything in the game?'. Of course there's plenty of overlap. You can be an achievement hunter while also being a glam hunter while also being a Mentor. They're not mutually exclusive categories at all.

  10. I'm rank 2 but going very close to rank 1 in the pecking order. Cleared every savage and extreme before there was an echo. I laugh so hard about optimizing my GPU for DPS because I have it setup where I run the game at 144 FPS at all times during raiding so I do not miss a frame. It's so damn true.

  17. he forgot to mention the erotic role players, the completionists, and the viera/miqote players XD

    completionists being next to glam hunters, erotic role players being low middle and the viera/miqote being high middle
