  1. This is some of my favorite conent in ARR, It has been changed over the years, but still gives a nice vibe to it, i think Gaius is so cool!
EDIT: PS LOVE THE VIDEO LOVE U, AND I LOVE NERO'S RED LOBSTER ARMOR

  2. Both of these dungeons were a great improvement too. Much shorter than before for sure. Castrum was about 25 minutes, possibly longer because of the last boss, who had a magitek armor which could only be destroyed by firing cannons on it and THEN you fought the boss herself. Praetorium in turn is also greatly shortened from before, because of one major thing. Old version lasted 40-45 minutes because it included all of the now separate duties together. Yeah… Gaius wasn't the end before.

  3. Light Parties get access to LB1, and a Full Party gets access to LB2 by default. Enemies flagged as a major boss add one bar to that, but the catch is that they tend to reset your current LB progress when pulled, so the more people overgear the content the less likely you will be able to fill up every bar. There are certain exceptions to the rule, but they are made for plot or similar purposes.

  4. About Gaius turning gold, the game does a very poor job at explaing why. As far as I know the only place you learn about it is when you get the Gilded Magitek Armor mount from enough commendations. The tooltip description and the journal entry is where the reason is stated.

    "Description
Call into battle your gilded suit of magitek armor. Its golden coating serves to resist magicks while impressing members of the opposite sex.

    Journal
It only took a few heated skirmishes with the allied city–states for Garlemald to realize that the magicks wielded by the realm's mages were too much for even the thickest of magitek armor plating. Alloyed gilding has since been discovered to dampen the effects of elemental charges and is now standard issue."

  5. You've probably heard it by now, but Castrum Meridianum and The Praetorium were heavily reworked. And by and large I'd say they were massively improved – the bosses especially got way better compared to the tank-and-spanks they were. A lot of extraneous time wasting was cut too. The mechanics are still relatively simple, but they feel now on par with the finale highs of the other expansions, so look forward to that!

  6. 2 things:
DRG has A LOT of ogcd's, you should probably sort your hotbar as you mentioned XD
second is related, you can share hotbars between jobs, random emotes and such I personally like putting on a shared hotbar and hiding it when I'm in a duty [for example hotbar 10]

    Enjoying watching your playthrough!

Edit: it probably doesn't matter for now but be watching for when other ppls animations are….too much, you can change them to limited or turn off their effects
