  1. The island sanctuary resources are going to the new expansive lifestyle content that they had one slide and zero details about in keynote. They said it’s gonna be lifestyle content in the same vein and look forward to details next time

  2. I think Island Sanctuary was something that they wanted to try and likely got very low sustained player interaction so its getting dumped. I don't see why Ultimates not being included is a big deal. I think if free trial people are able to do savage then that's the enticement to buy a sub and then be able to run ultimates to test oneself

  3. Your take on rewards are shit is accurate I believe. I gave up on attaining BiS because literally the next tier of raiding has crafting gear that is higher ilvl so it makes BiS useless. Why not make crafting gear for catch up, same ilvl as BiS but not nearly as strong, just used to be able to get into the raid.

I’ve also hated Fates, some can spawn different fates but the rewards are atrocious. The only time I’ve done Fates is when one of my jobs is almost at a level that can get into the next dungeon, very rare opportunity.

  4. I've used the crafting upgrade exchange quite a lot to get the upgraded gear for alt jobs. Back in Shadowbringers if I wanted to gear up an alt job, I'd just go buy like 8 pairs of dragoon pants to trade in since they were a quarter the price of every other job's gear but gave the same amount of tokens.

  5. I'm kind of in the same boat as that person that used the augmented crafted thing to exchange for other stuff once or twice lol, getting a bunch of tokens for giving in a weapon/chestpiece and bumping your ilvl up via accessories is an alright deal. But yeah it is convoluted.

  6. I actually do use the crafted gear exchange to get different gear. I'll usually have crafted sets for a few of my main jobs from the beginning of a raid tier, so the fact that I can turn those bound pieces in for stuff I can put on jobs I don't play that much and want to fuck around with is nice.

  7. if you got an alt with 2nd lieutenant. if you know where your fc house is. take them there and manually apply to join then change to your main and accept. wait the 30 days then hand over ownership lol

  8. honestly the Ultimate raids being sub locked is probably a good thing i dont think we want people botting free trial accounts to clear an ultimate bringing down the prestige of clearing one.

  9. On the tokens for crafted gear: This system enables you to buy the cheapest 640 gear piece on mb and exchange it for a 650 gear piece of your choice. For example, imagine all crafted gear sits at 100k+ but somehow the ninja weapon got undercut so many times that you can buy one for 20k. Yoink it, exchange it and you got the chest piece for your tank that would cost you over 200k, if you were restricted to the exact slot and job. That's what it's for.

  10. Oh yeah lets authorize f2p account access ultimate so now people will be able to sell ultimate kill for real money with litteraly no chance of getting caught and have there main account be banned that would be a real nice idea come on lets think more than 5 sec

  12. 5:25 – I have a great house in a great spot but interact with my island way more. Island sanctuary is so much better. The housing bores me. I love new island patches. So much to do and mess with.
