  1. I dont know how other people play without reading skill tooltips. I just find that weird. Whenever I get a new skill, I always take my time to read and understand it before diving back into combat. Sometimes, I'd even stop by some training dummies to see what the skill does.

Oh wait, I know how they play. Now I remember that Marauder I had in Satasha who doesnt use overpower. lmao.

  2. I love all your videos, I respect your opinion but still allowing me to learn at my own level. I've even started tanking and using your tips I get nothing but positive feedback. Thank you 💗

  3. Biggest Advice that i can give from my two years playing. Dont be afraid you will make many mistake at the beginnig but you will improve from playing one class you like very much.

Espically for savage raiding, you may die 500 times but you come back as a much better player. Dont stopp moving, keep on trying improving with guides, with suggestions from other players, dont refuse to learn . You will never stopp learning no matter how far you are .

  4. Holding a skill button down just before a skill comes off cooldown instead of pressing it when it becomes available also activates it the moment it comes back online. Is it still better to smash them down regardless of that being a thing?

  5. if you struggle with running out of good / easy to reach buttons for your keybinds, use TFGH instead of WASD for movement, way more buttons around your main position, no need to buy an MMO mouse (although it's still a "nice-to-have")

  6. About button mashing.. it is not actually necessary in FFXIV, since there is a queue up system. If you press the button within around 0.5 seconds even before it is ready, the GCD will register. No need to press at exactly the time it is ready and spam. You still will not loose any uptime if you are a little early. I personally still press the button more often for old times sake and since you are not always right up on it, but you can click it slowly instead of breaking your keyboard and still be good.

  7. I treat the GCD system like listening to/playing music . I have an internal metronome which i sync with the way skills animate and sound queue when the gcd has been played.

Like for example the warrior basic 2 combo you have when youre a lowbie

The first basic attack goes "whoom pish" ! the combo follow up attack combo "whomp whomp pisssh " . the high pitch sound queues the end of the animation and lines up with when the gcd timer has ended all the while in my head the gcd timer is ticking away based on the sound and visual queues

or a WHM holy spell , the charge sound and then the high pitch blast attack when the stun+ dmg lands is when you can press a heal keybind in as the gcd triggered by holy has ended.

  8. Mmo mouse is the true answer. Seriously when I see my brothers whole keyboard keybinded, while I'm here having everything binded to my mmo mouse and like 4 keys on my keyboard I can't help but wonder how you can play this game without one.
