Thanks so much for watching, I hope this guide serves to be useful. Please keep in mind that as balance/job changes happen over time, some of the information in this guide will become outdated/incorrect! This is also the first time I’ve ever made any sort of info/guide content so feedback would be appreciated, apologies if anything was hard to follow or incorrect.

(6.08 caused a bit of a delay on this guide releasing due to some potency changes lol, in fact the rotation at the end may show me incorrectly using LS a few times due to those changes, so just remember, LS only HTs unless there is enough buffs up to make it worth to LS a FC/WT 5th!)

I also use XIVLauncher which is an alternative launcher for the game, it allows the use of Dalamud plugins which are small game modifications for QoL. I do not recommend using any plugins that give you any sort of unfair advantage (because those do exist, unfortunately), but would highly recommend some of the small QoL plugins for visual stuff.     I'm going to also use this pinned comment as a sort of "patch notes" to this guide as I'm sure stuff will change when balance changes hit or when I inevitably notice something I said incorrectly lmao.
    -at 30:25 during the rotation showcase, there are two sub-optimal uses of LS. This was partially due to the fact that potencies were recently changed in patch 6.08 that made using LS on a 5th hit FC/WT very very rarely worth using over even an unbuffed HT. And also I kinda just fucked up a little lmao, JUST REMEMBER, use LS on HT (preferably when your buffs are up) and look out for the few situations where it would be worth to use it on a WT/FC which is usually very rare outside of openers/reopeners.
    -at 03:30, I mention that you should usually only go for 1 or MAYBE 2 oGCDs in between any pair of GCDs. I wanna clarify that on most people's ping, you can and SHOULD go for plenty of double weaved oGCDs in between GCDs. In fact to be optimal you will very much so have to double weave a LOT, namely in burst windows. If you connection won't allow it then uhhh… good luck!
    -I mentioned this guide was only for level 90 DRG, but I feel its at least worth mentioning that if you happen to do any level 70 content (UWU/UCOB) your life windows will only last for 20 seconds, which is why the trait shown at 06:52 annotates a 20s timer for Life. at level 78 you receive another trait which ups that to 30s. This essentially changes nothing other than chopping off one nastrond from your life windows if you're below 78.

  30. Every other Melee: 3Hit combo.
    Dragoon: 6 hit combo.
    Every other Melee: 2 hit aoe combo.
    Dragoon: 3 hit aoe combo.

    I don't know why but it seems Dragoon seems to be compensating for something.
