How Good Is Samurai In Endwalker?~Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker

  1. I main Sam sense stormblood and love it still but my problem is not the change in the opener but the damage I think Sam a little little buff before Savage release rpr way to strong so I see some buffs and nerfs incoming

  2. We may at most get a few potency increases at most. And currently

ADPS is a much better metric to look at for SAM. RDPS SAM is never going to be the most optimal thing as now, you can still adhoc and barely get any difference vs a spreadsheet rotation that fits everything under raid buff.

  3. Pretty good opinions here, I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks third eye could use a sound effect or something like reaper's arcane crest when it successfully mitigates damage

  4. I know I'm gonna risk sounding like a broken record here, but I think it's ridiculous that RPR gets a free, 600 potency circle AoE with Soulsow and SAM's Guren not only does 100 less, but also has a 2 minute cooldown and costs meter. Speaking of meter, I don't personally think the lowered cost of Senei and Guren is all that noticeable for me. If they REALLY wanted to buff it, they should've lowered the cooldown.

It also kinda just blows that Samurai is supposed to be the guy that makes up for his lack of support with damage, but gets outperformed by Reaper which does damage AND has a party-wide buff.
