I hope you all enjoy the video and what? Did you learn from Final FantasyXIV? Also the next video will be the Final Fantasy Crystal Tower Raid Timeline.
I've seen people give stormblood so much disrespect and they don't even give valid or plausible reasons as to why it's the worst expansion
loved the kinda essay-video style, maybe trying more videos like this and in the future and going deeper into the psychological or political aspect might be a step foward?, either way, this is just an idea
There's some really nice speculation on the forums on the finer parts and specifics of the philosophy underpinning EW, some of it still goes over my head a bit, but it says a lot about the game that I'll read up in the first place.
Thanks for the content!
I agree on your point of view how the game makes us all better. It's all about the adventure and the people we meet on the way!
Nice video!
I like how you connected some of the underlying themes between expansions and used specific examples, such as the dynamic between Estinien/Ysayle and the dynamic between Alphinaud/Alisaie and Fourchenault. You could also apply this to the ways in which the ancients dealt with the Final Days, with team Zodiark and team Hydaelyn both trying to find ways of averting the Final Days but in different ways. Understanding was also very prevalent in ShB. I was thinking for a moment with Endwalker that you were going to discuss purpose, but hope makes more sense since the expansion ends with the antagonist singing a song of hope rather than a song of despair.
I think stormblood has also a message of fighting against oppresion
