The thing with Ardbert is that he died and his soul was left wandering for nearly 100 years after the Flood of Light. When he rejoined with us, he made us 9/14th complete. He will always be a part of us so any outward appearance of him should be impossible by rights. That also means he can’t be reincarnated either so that option is off the table.

That Gaius part will lead into the Sorrow of Werlyt trials series and trust me, the story is FANTASTIC and it's really worth it. Hope y'all do it at some point. Doing this after 5.3 is good.
The twins are one of the most authentic and accurate sibling relationships I've seen in video games.
I loved the way Almet talked about the differences between memory and history. You can't truly remember a historical event unless you lived it (memory), you can only learn what those that lived it tell us (history). That really stuck with me.
It seems like you BLEW through 5.1 without showing any of the best role-player instance to date which is a little sad but maybe it wasn't to your liking. The title is also slightly confusing because the vast majority of this video is actually not 5.1 but most of 5.2.
I remember when I first played through this. I was SOOO furious with Elidbus.
Did you guys do The Twinning optional dungeon that unlocks after 5.0 in the Crystarium? I heavily recommend jumping on it and filming it since it’s got tasty lore ;P
really gotta appreciate how good the AI is by ShB … they are more alive, like actual players, and sometimes better than real players too xD
