Healing in Gameplay vs Lore – FFXIV Lore Explored

Thank you so much for watching this video.
My channel is focused on player perspective content, gameplay, theory’s and importantly game lore for Final Fantasy XIV.
As this channel has grown my goals have evolved but ever do they remain the same, the creation of videos that mean to bring a smile to a viewers face or provide them with even one piece of useful information.

I mean to live up to these goals and the time you have taken to watch my content.

  1. Honestly I like how each mage actually has more behind how they approach the use of the extra aether required for their spells. Summoner and Scholar use familiars and books with prewritten formulas and magical glyphs to essentially hyper charge the relatively small amount of aether used by them (SCH also just saps it out of the enemies), whm uses the aid of the elementals, sage has the same plan as SCH but with neuliths writing spells in the air, and so on. It’s really interesting!

But likewise the same amount of careful lore is used when approaching the healing spells bc a healer can pump you full of aether and stop hemorrhaging but the body is still going to be weakened after such an event and patients require physical care. And if a wound is too much then even regarding lore, there’s nothing anyone can do and they stick to that lore for their healers extremely well. I dunno I think it’s cool.
