One of the biggest problems with healing in current XIV is that we don't control our own destiny anymore. Everything either hits for barely anything or else it blasts everyone for 200% of max HP, so the actual healing isn't what matters but the mits. We have to rely on DPS/tanks to do that but we get blamed for it if it doesn't work.
Take all raid-wide/targeted mits off DPS/tanks, give them all to healers only. At least then if everyone dies it was actually our fault.
(The other big problem is that we have the same situation that tanks had in SB. We have to choose between healing GCDs and DPS GCDs. That was OK when tanks, healers, and physical ranged all had to make the same kind of choices. But now it's only healers that do. Sure they removed cleric stance, but they need to just completely remove healing GCDs, buff the OGCDs however much is needed to make up for that, and give us a tank-level DPS rotation and damage output).
