What server/Data Center are you on? I'm always happy to assist newer players with older content that gets rushed through these days!
PvP in this game is awfull, they have to at least build in more Arenas and Modes, like 2vs2, 1vs1 etc (custom doesnt count) And God, they have to finally reduce Global CD because otherwise seems to boring and with that i dont mean something like ESO but GW 2 is a perfect example ( which is unreachable for FF14 because of Code but at least double reduce of Global CD will be already a huge improvement) Its sad, that the raid and classes of FF14 look really amazing, i mean they have Samurai guys… But the combat system and lack of PvP is really big problem for me to dive in this game. I hofe there will be one day when i can just play my Samurai or Monk class in big Open World like BDO but without any P2W Systems…
oof, yeah i both love and hate this game. the looks are on point, but the actual character customization is kind of lacking. i do like playing with friends but i (re)started so late that they were all waiting for the new xpac and had no real desire to help me with what i had to catch up to. i ended up unsubbing. i didn't mind frontline, the rewards were better for supports than gw2's wvw, but ultimately i didn't really have enough engagement with other people to continue paying for my sub.
I enjoyed your review and you bring up great points! Hope you continue to enjoy Heavensward, and beyond if you so choose. PS – I'm taking a break from FF and just coming back to GW2. Last content I completed was HoT, and your videos have been really helping me remember how to play 🙂
Kroof I loved the quality of this video. Definitely a good perspective for someone that still hasn't jumped the gun into the game especially since your POV isn't behind rose tinted glasses. I know you've heard this already but once you enter Heavensward, it'll essentially be a different game. A game that wasn't shackled by rushed production.
