  2. Alright I gotta ask. I don't doubt that your PC is connected to the router, but is your router directly connected to a wire outside or are you using satellite?

The only time I've seen packet loss this consistent is when someone's connecting to cell tower using satellite dishes instead of a hard cable directly to the tower.

  3. If you're still having problems savix, try right clicking your character's name in character select and choose visit new world. IIRC it will put you onto the least conjested world hopefully you get less DC's!

  4. On Balmung, playing at peak hours, using remote desktop to beat 4K+ queue, one DC since early access, something's up with your network, or the server hate you in particular.

  5. Savix. You need to check you're pc and router. Maybe get someone expert on testing you rig. 90 percent there is something wrong with your setup right now. Then get some gaming vpn like exitlag or wtfast, etc..

  6. I haven't dc'd onced and just finished all of shadowbringers, ready to start EW now. Was a little scared to click on this for spoilers. I'm sorry but this is hilarious.

Hope you get it sorted out.

  7. Some simple troubleshooting you can try if you haven't already:

Try connecting through a VPN, or if you already are, try connecting without it.
    Power cycle your router.
Make sure you're allowing FFXIV through your firewall on both windows and your router.

If none of the above work, try reinstalling the game from scratch, ideally on a different drive. This is the one that seems to work when all network related fixes fail.

Hopefully you can get things sorted!

  8. My guess is it has to be ISP and some packet loss. Your connection becomes unstable enough that it kicks you. Worst past is that if it’s from your pc to the first node, near impossible to workaround. If it’s from node to servers, a VPN could help. Sorry mate 🙁

  9. I never been happier to be waking up at 8am. literally, the highest queue i had was 30 (except for the release day that was… a bit rough) nor any DC's (again except for the first day) and I've been in-game from 8am to 12 midnight. (110hours played in a week)
I'm not sure if you get dc because of your internet, NA servers are faulty or someone is ddosing you but hang in there, sooner or later servers should stabilize 😀

  10. You might want to try reinstalling the game, if you don't think its your internet. I'm playing on DSL connection 25up/5down and have only DC'd once. I've played everyday too.

  11. you can try disabling the Large Send Offload option to stop the 90002 error. I had that problem before Endwalker and after that fix I have not d/c'd once after getting in game.
