I don't see the silver exclamation mark and my fish get away when I use patience, what am I doing wrong? Edit: figured out I had the silver mark filtered out in my character settings (setting battle effects to "Show Limited" or "Show None" )

I never hated fishing as much as this one before, no bite at all even when you use the correct bait.
