Gamers Pay 12k Dollars To Advertise ERP In Final Fantasy 14 (GONE WRONG)

Xeno reacts to the brand new drama from Final Fantasy XIV: a group of role-players paid 12 thousand dollars to buy a few billboards in order to advertise a night club event in game. The problem is that they used third party addons to take the in game images and used the FFXIV logo without approval from Square Enix. The memes are legendary.

  1. Threaten to report people, who react negative emoji, to the authority is the most hilarious thing here. They sure are living in a fantasy world LMAO

  2. I don’t understand why ff14 players make this a big deal. It’s a party advertisement on a billboard. So they broke some rules who cares. Are people that scared they showed some character models on a billboard that they think the own ones they use will be taken away? I don’t get this at all. Ff14 players are weird everyone wants to be a white knight.

  3. the video was really really good but the only thing that made me dislike the video was "i don't care what people do with their money, they can buy raid clears and such, i don't care"

that is what ruins a online game, that is what killed wow alongside with blizzard being extremely greedy and corrupt, and could kill ff14, just like the gil selling websites are infesting ff14 with bots and ruining the economy of the game…and if you just wanna do dungeons and raids and don't care about the economy or trying to get a house while there are thousands of bots giving hundreds of millions of gil to stop you from buying a house, that IS PART OF THE GAME IN WHICH YOU PAY A SUBSCRIPTION TO ENJOY IT, just so that they can sell it online because people ARE BUYING IT with real money, then well part of your subscription money is going down the drain and you are just like any diablo immortal whale player or wow player that gives money to a game to only enjoy half of it, for example you could as well just buy a burguer at MCdonalds and eat just half of it because you don't care to pay full price to receive only half and the other half MCdonalds had to give to other people because they paid more money than you to a staff to steal from you that half so they can have more and more, it would be the same thing, but our luck is that there are a ton of players who don't wanna buy raid clears and are trying do to end game content…

  4. ERP started becoming more and more of a thing near the end of HW and now it has gotten out of hand, because the average "I <3 Square Enix!!!!" dipshit always tried to push it under the rug.
Now you see what happens when you let the horny community dictate shit…

  5. Funny that all the people spending money on that billboard never thought to think that even just using the Final Fantasy logo without SE's consent is enough to get them in trouble. Not to mention the mods on display clearly violating even more rules. Certainly not the brightest bunch, but it's not the first time they've made themselves look dumb for attention and likely will not be the last.

  6. People need to research before posting. A couple mins with a search. You can rent a billboard for $630.00 for 1 month in Austin Texas. Depending on the location and duration of the sign will determine the cost. How people get 12k? lmao

  7. Alright I get it using mod to spoil upcoming summer outfit might be bad (altho not first time it got leak) but you people need to calm down, let them do what they want with their money. If they want to do add that way, let them, it was way more inventive way to announce their event than seeing chat spam. They got balls to do that, now if they broke any rule policy w/e, let right people in charge to take care of this, there is no need for hate comment. If you have so much hate to spit you should rather spam chinese gold seller instead /huh

  8. What annoys me is that they risk the company’s stand on mods changing for the worse.

SE is a company integrated by many people with their individual thoughts like any other, and inside the development team it seems they have reached a consensus, “If we do not know, we let them be. But if we do, we crack down on them.” This gives the people inside the team who’d like a stronger regulation of these things the perfect excuse to speak up and back their complaints, maybe even convincing a higher up too.

Could what I said not happen at all? Yes. But then again, why risk it when the fun of so many people is involved? This isn’t only about ERPers, but also things like g-shade users, and the such!

  11. That's a good point. I don't care that they spent their money. I care about the poor shmuck that's gonna have to climb up their and do a few hours of work to take it down. Only a few days after he first put it up.

And also all the people who had nothing to do with the billboard who are getting punished.
