FF6's Relm is where Pictomancer comes from. And yeah, it's the most unique of any of them besides blue mage (and the coming beastmaster).

I’m kinda overwhelmed/confused by Dawntrail stuff so far 😅 I’m just going to be patient and go with the flow when it comes out. It’s not the same kind of hype I’ve had for past expansions, but it makes sense that it’s a different vibe.. new storylines/adventures and whatnot!
The styles of Tuliyollal are inspired heavily by Aztec and Mayan (Mesoamerican) and Incan (South American Andean) cultures, and I got what I think are hints of other cultures elsewhere (Muiscan from present-day Colombia, Carib and Taíno from extreme northern South America and the Carribbean) but I haven't been able to pick out an obvious parallel to any pre-Columbian North American cultures. Maybe something we haven't seen yet will be reminiscent of Cahokia or something similar.

It's in the northern continent. As you said, this will be the Raid Hub for Dawntrail so you will visit it during the MSQ once and then come back later on at which time you'll be wanting to set that as one of your free or discounted Teleportation destinations.
It will likely be near to or contain The Arcadion, so think less Cyberpunk 2077 and more Tron Legacy.
Solution Nine is based off FF9 zidane trance attack of same name. Viper melee job is also based off zidane too with their dualblade weapon called viper.
It's just me or solution 9 looks(and sounds) like FFX's Zanarkand?
