FIRST!!!
There is only one meal and it's mustard eggs lol jk. Awesome video!! I will definitely use this guide when I give healing a go after Endwalker.
now im hungry !! Great vid.
Awesome video as always Talli
Lol I'm typically signing up for the Nier raids while munching on some raisins or marmot steak I bought for super cheap
I always go with raisins for leveling. I make them from grapes. The grapes are 4 gil each, and each grape gives me 3 raisins. Can be even cheaper if you gather a bunch at once instead of buying.
The recipe is level 3 so anybody can make them.
Of course you also have to consider the cost of the fire shards, but I never seem to have to buy or gather them.
watching this while eating a caramel cinnamon roll
I should have just waited for this video before levelling my white mage, I just hit 80 20 minutes ago 😅
I only discovered the 3% buff when I had to get a bunch of pears for a botany quest xD Now I'm using those to help level crafters and alt jobs xD. Botany is a great way to get that EXP food buff and make a couple of gil here and there 🙂
Fun fact. If you're leveling and don't care about the stats at all, you can eat a harvested item for just the 3% exp boost. My go to is Mirror Apples since I'm raising Thanvarian Onions on the side.
I should have eaten something before going into the last Nier raid yesterday. Twilight Popoto thingy meal here I come┏(^0^)┛
If you /really/ want to be a skinflint and save exactly one more gil per food item, you can buy Mineral Water from the "Tradecraft Supplier" NPCs in ARR cities for 4 gil each. Mineral Water has no stats at all, but still comes with the 3% buff. I keep a healthy stack of them on my characters, so they're always well hydrated xD
Alligator pears are 1 gil each on the market board
Me and my 100+ stack of orange juices. XD
Critical Hit is doubly important for SCH since crit heals with Adloquim double the amount of shields granted. So for SCH, critical hit > anything else.
Also I'm using Stuffed Highland Cabbage for food. 480iLvL Crit/Det/Vit, it's not the best healer food, but I made a huge stack of it so I'm eating it. It's slightly cheaper than iLvL 510 food and works just as well, IMO.
This reminder came just in time for my road to 70 buff to disappear for my alt jobs. Great video, Talli!
i'm lazy and dumb, so i bought 80 orange juice for that one quest for glamour or something… i've been using that ever since and kept buying when it ran out, so cheap, so tasty, so acidic.. orange juice is the only way.
your videos are so soothing
I've loved every video so far that you've made! I'm definitely getting value from my Subscription. One thing for sprouts to note: Direct Hit only affects things that deal damage. You cannot land a Direct Hit on a heal (You can however land a Critical Hit, so Critical Hit stat still applies to heals). This doesn't mean Direct Hit is useless for healers since you should still be DPSing, but if you're trying to increase your heals, this isn't the stat for you.
Also another great thing to know between Determination and Critical Hit. Both Stats apply to both your DPS and you heals, however the boost from Determination is applied to every spell you cast while critical hits only have a chance to activate. (The more Critical Hit stat you have the higher the chance). So you're choosing between occasional BIG HEALZ and heals that are only subtly but consistently better.
what i learned from this is that healers love pineapple and potatoes got it
0:50, you can keep eating. The bard backed up from the incoming attack. It won't hurt much. 🤓
