Download and play Bless Unleashed today!: https://bit.ly/3CyI1aL
In Episode 3 of FFXIV I took the advice of my audience and decided to level a red mage alongside black mage and found the class design to be amazing and unique for an MMO, I made big progress with the MSQ, did my first 8 player duties, completed the base ARR story and unlocked flying whilst inspecting other players fashion along the way
What do you think about FFXIV? did you get into this game recently? did you also have to rethink how you approach this MMO to truly get into it? let me know in the comments below!

Coolest Class In FFXIV? – Episode 3

source
Best editor ever 10/10
Watching this took me back to playing the game when it was first released in 2013! Back before flying was a thing and the XP boosts, before the 2.xx patch content, before red mage and even before the Binding Coil was released. Fate grinding from 45-50 and then grinding WP for tomes for raid gear! Those were the days lol
Most of the things can be craft unless it is the level 60, 70, and 80 class gear.
Loving this series!
You skipped the best line in the game… I hope that was not your intention.
Liked before seen …. because of waiting for "jumpaaaah", "big boobs" and "big damage" of course 😂
yeah you've overleveled your msq, and you're getting better gear from job quests anyway so don't worry about it
pick up a third class to level at the same time lmao
Honestly… whatever graphical mod you are using hurts my eyes. Everything just glows too much. Feels like I'm simultaneously being flashbanged while a lot of the details of everything around you are completely darkened out.
Looks good for screenshots, but for actual video… ow.
Damn, you said something that´s going to bite you in the ass hard later on. There is no more plot armor after ARR.
idk if its possible yet but try unlock glamour for appearance gear transmog
I might have said it on the last video, but I'm not sure, so I'll say it again. All of the content in the game outside of endgame raids is way too easy. Literally all of it. The reason is that the level sync and item sync thresholds for low level content is way too high. So, everyone is overgeared for literally everything.
If you keep playing this game, you'll notice that the fanbase is absolutely rabid. I've never seen stronger Fan Boys than with FFXIV. As such, you'll almost never see anyone talking about the bad aspect of the game, of which there are many.
It's still a fun game, but there are a lot of things that are bafflingly broken. Like, Square Enix could just change some numbers to lower the syncs so low level content was even just a LITTLE harder, but they don't. For some reason they've decided 90% of the content they've ever made should just be breezed through. I really don't understand it.
He is doing 40+ msq and doesn't have glamour unlocked? It unlocks at 20 something, just go to do some blue quest in at the Sands.
Wait… so Peon got into FFXIV after shitting on it for years and years? Wow… he must be DESPERATE for content… lol… I'm not saying it's a bad thing… just saying it's really weird he did it… didn't see it coming…
Well, good for him… FFXIV is a really nice game (not as ridiculously good as it's fanboys and girls pretend it is… but still a good game with good content)… I play a little FFXIV on and off from time to time (started when they made ARR and Heavensward free) but never got over the lvl 60 free trial… the story is good but just never hooked me enough to start paying… something always held me back… like "eh… it's not THAT good"… maybe I never got the right timing with it… you know… that timing when you have nothing else to play and you just get hooked on something… I play lots of games so never got into FFXIV for real…
Anyway… it's fun seeing Peon play his "most hated" MMO… lol
Your face when you could fly!! It's every MMO-ers face of "Welp, I guess I'm gonna have to grind of three weeks before I can…OMG I CAN FLY RIGHT NOW??!!"
The joy in his face when he takes flight at the end. So cute 🥰
did he just promote bless unleashed ummm ok $$$$$$$$$$
Gil for housing end game…not much but it adds up
you should try destiny 2
God this game is boring!
Nobody is overgeared, there is item level sync in every dungeon/trial/raid. The reason it's so easy, is because the content you're doing is tuned down.
Also take a moment to notice Ah Kel, the dude from Orange County just hangin out. "Whoa bro, this place is lit and stuff!"
That glam is so out of place! Like some guy from the real world showed up not knowing what this place was, or thinking it was a movie set, or some other silliness.
Peon over here playing the game through a washed out vaseline covered window.
I got so BORED of the story it put me off
Do guildwars 2 . They are really bad at advertising .
Get yourself a uraeus coat off the MB and dye it red for a sweet red mage glam.
On overleveling/overgearing: all the instances, at least the ones you do for the story, sync your item level and actual level down to something a little more reasonable for that content. The ARR stuff is still really easy, since people farm it for currency and there has been some power creep with buffs, new class additions, and people getting runs down to a science for optimal farming (despite Praetorium still taking 45 minutes, thanks to the unskipable cutscenes). So there isn’t really too much fear in your gear being too overgeared for a particular piece of content for MSQ.
You can unlock the glamor system as well as dyeing from a girl that is in vesper Bay she will have a multi colored outfit and she will be sitting on a bench in the middle of the town. It's a really simple quest line and she will have a few blue quest for you to do if you are up for it.
Any challenge from earlier content needs to be self imposed. If you go to the settings in duty finder (cog wheel) you can set them to min ilvl. MSQ trials and raids still won't be difficult, but they won't melt. But good luck finding people doing story raids/trials on minilvl.
good luck trying to catch The Ruby Dragon
I don't know why, but the shading, lighting and colors seems a bit off to me
FYI for the quest rewards, just take the gold. It's all craftable gear anyways. You can always right click -> inspect things to see how they look on you, and take them as you like, but the gold is probably more valuable that you think.
Tombs are your main source of currency for gear. 50 60 70 are tombs of poetics every time you clear an expansion you will access to the tomb store 50 Mor dhona 60 Idyllshire 70 Rhalgr's reach, all unlocked via the story. I wouldn't worry too much about quest glamours, you can get those at anytime.
There is also glamour storage in every inn room you go t that can hold 400 pieces.
HOW DARE you take a sponsorship from bless unleashed, holy fuck
I can't believe you didn't include the maggie arc, best character in ARR
try titan extreme synced, really fun if you like positioning and stuff
There is a female Roegadyn, named Swyrgeim, in Vesper Bay. Her quests unlock at lvl 15, and allows you to dye your gear, and glamour your gear. She's very obvious as she sits facing the entrance of Vesperbay from Horizon.
You'll require an Orange Juice, to unlock the dye portion of it. They changed it so you got one from the MSQ, so if you haven't sold or used it, you're set. Otherwise you can get one from Kathrerine in the Uldah marketplace, or the barmaid in the Ale House where you unlocked your Red Mage class. The Glamour quest, she'll send you to get an item from the nearby shop, so you won't need anything for that.
To actually glamour your gear, you'll need some Prisms, which you can get off of the Marketboard. After that, you can head to any Inn Room and use the fancy Amoire with a mirror and set up your glamours as "Plates". Then whenever you are in a city, you can just apply your set up "Plates" without using all of your Prisms. You can also use your dyes on the "Plates" and save on your dye as well.
Edit: Forgot to mention that you can preview the dye on a piece of armor by right clicking and previewing it. From there you right click it again in the dressing room window opened, and if it is able to be dyed (Most if not all dungeon gear cannot be dyed. And the initial lvl 50 Class gear cannot either, you'll be able to get dyeable versions later, but that is another rabbit hole unto itself.) you can choose the Dye Preview option to see what it would look like in various colors.
You are best taking the Gil unless you want easy gear for another class.
You can actually unlock Glams/Transmog right now. There is a Roe lady in Western Thanalan in front of the Waking sands. She will unlock both dye and glam. ( You can buy the OJ she wants at the shop behind her. )
Cape Westwind is the easiest fight in the game, but it's a classic to trick streamers into believing it will keep them wiping for 3 hours. They'll be reading guides, planning their entire stream around a fight that takes two minutes.
Kinda sad we never got to give you that treatment, heh, it's the ultimate welcoming to ff14.
Loving these vids.
Bit of a sell-out on the old Bless Unleashed sponsorship(?).
Finally! These videos are too short
I thought Bless went down. Maybe I'm thinking of a different video game?
13:20 castrum meridian was honestly one of the best parts of playing ff14 the music and the boss fights were just so freaking enjoyable!
