  1. Love the format of having both of you physically in the same place – that was cool 🙂

I hope the growing pains of mic audio cutting in and out can be fixed for the next video 🙂 Also making sure that Chris' face isn't half-hidden behind the mic would be awesome x) Apart from that, love the discussion, loved the reaction, can't wait for more 😉

  2. I love to see you guys actually in person together. That's so fabulous!! Great if you to invite him into your home and for Chris to be able to visit. I love that. Thanks for posting another great video

  3. For me, my biggest gripe with FFXV was the combat system — no matter what weapon I was using, it felt like waving a pool noodle at the enemy.

With SquEnix having poached the Combat System Director from Devil May Cry 5, I'm hopeful for FFXVI having more than adequately addressed that.

  4. I found the battle system is more like Lightning Return. I think the game will be a story focus with boring battle system and only 1 playable character.

  5. It's tough to call anything about the battle system, especially action combat because FF13 and FF15 looked very cool out of context but didn't really land for a lot of us when we actually played it, like SE has always had issues when it comes to action combat, even FF7 Remake was kinda polarizing although def a step up, but it could also be fantastic. Honestly, the only complaint I have is the erasure of water again, Yoshida just hates water, there's no water attacks besides Suiton in FF14 still and here, yet again, they have 2 fire summons, 2 non-elemental summons and no water summon lol. WTF? That will never not baffle me.

  6. I know it's hard for Sqeenix to avoid the DLC temptation, but games like God of War, Death Stranding, and Horizon: Zero Dawn put the lie to the idea that games NEED a roadmap or multiplayer to be successful. If, as a return to simplicity and clear player expectations, Squeenix releases this as a one and done title, I think there's a good chance it can be successful and earn back a lot of player goodwill that has been lost over the last decade or more of wobbly Final Fantasy releases.

  7. Wouldn'y surprise me if that "Child of Fate" line at the end was more than just a line and Clive has a Unique or flat out RARE ability to copy Summon abilities / steal Eikons.

Like dominants can share a fraction of their Eikon power but Clive will eventually able to copy the entier thing.. who knows.

  8. The music you put over the top of you guys talking is distracting and almost makes Chris inaudible in certain parts. IMO you shouldn't put music on top of you guys talking going forward.

  9. enjoyed you guys being together! really had a hard time hearing Chris on and off and the trailer I couldn't hear at all (not important because I've seen it) but the format is a great idea! Thanks for the video =)

  10. Great video! It was hard to hear Chris at times though – if he moved a little, the microphone didn’t seem to pick his words up as loud. And the background music sometimes made it difficult to hear him.
