FINAL FANTASY XIV x BLOODBORNE – Could this be a possibility?

In this video I talk about my hunter dream to have a crossover of Final Fantasy XIV and Bloodborne due to the introduction of the Reaper Job. It’s unlikely to ever happen, but it’s fun to talk about.

  1. My understanding is that there was a cross-over set for the 5.4 Raid tier. I believe it is the tome armor in 5.4 is indeed a crossover already. if not, I think that it does actually look very similar. I could be wrong, but I correct me as necessary!

  3. Yeah. I bet you the only problem to see this crossover are those who play the PS5 version of FF14. Which I know may sound stupid. Yet it would be likely as some PlayStation Network Exclusive Download or something. The only way to get it through the PS5 PSN Store version. Would not be any Crossover Event Story. Just some glam items only gained by those who are on the Console. Plus it is not unheard of.

  4. Highly unlikely that Sony will agree to a collab with one of their exclusive ips. Maybe a collab for the playstation players out there, but not for the rest of the community. Sony loves their exclusives way too much for that.

  5. I always thought the Cryptlurker gear looks like it’s straight out of Bloodborne. Maybe that was intentional. Would be so fucking awesome if there’s a crossover event.

  6. The next deep dungeon/Bozja equivalent can be the chalice dungeons. However unlikely, they already have a template they can use for it. The best hope we have would be something similar to the MH crossover, where it would be a singular beast (highest possibility being the Cleric beast), and beating it gives blood echoes to trade for cosmetic gear or whatever they decide. Either way, if this were to happen, I would be very happy. Bloodborne being one of my favorite games of all time, I could never have to much of it, even if it's elsewhere.

  7. Ive never actually played bloodborne but i do love the Victorian aesthetic that it and the reaper class have, id be down, the nier raid is what got me to play automata, which from a marketing perspective i assume was the intended outcome

  9. Sony and the devs won't even make a sequel and seem to have no interest in the IP anymore so I really don't see this happening. I personally don't want more crossover stuff, FF14's world is hard enough to be immersed in with the clashing settings (sci-fi/medieval) and crossovers don't do anything to help that but I know I'm in the minority with this opinion. Still love the game though.

  10. The crossover being amazing would be a given. I think it'd be more interesting if the way we have to start to content is to die to a ridiculous fight only to awake/revive into the Hunter's Dream with the Doll being our 1st Bloodborne NPC guiding us through the rest of the crossover. Cainhurst Castle in particular seems like it'd be the perfect spot to have a reaper encounter and some Shiva shenanigans. I'd say that OR have some more royal blood shenanigans via Graha Tia tie in somehow cuz ya know – BLOODborne lol.

  11. I prefer this: instead of a bloodborne themed alliance raid, have a deep dungeon similar to Palace of the Dead and Heaven on High, have it ooze of bloodborne, ramp up the difficulty to give the feel of bloodborne have a bloodborne boss in it every ten levels. Have the loot award bloodborne glam, poses, hairstyles, and emotes.
