  1. The character you are thinking of is Randall Weems from Recess.
Yeah now days the vocal minority of people on the left are far more fascist than the people they claim to be fascists.
Its just sad that people are going to hate someone and cancel them for pretty much saying "I condemn the butchering, exploitation, and raping of children" it speaks volumes of the people condemning Susan than Susan herself.

  3. I mean, what was expected? I do not know why Ms Calloway liked the tweets she did, but the most obvious conclusion is that she agrees with them. So let us go down the list:

"Here's and idea… for a few months." Europe. What you are describing is sending students on a semester abroad to Europe. However, this tweet seems to obviously be of a more conservative bent, and believes that this would be a terrible, painful ordeal. Agreeing with this tweet could be considered as wishing harm upon others, but that is a very unfavorable interpretation.

"The reason peace has not been achieved in the Middle East is because of Islam." This is blatantly discriminatory against those of Islamic faith. Like many conflicts, both sides have/had reasonable grievances. In such a fuel rich environment, it doesn't take much of a spark to create an explosion. Certainly, the total and unconditional surrender of one side would result in peace, but that is true of any conflict. Both sides are stained in blood and both sides want their pound of flesh.

"In the name of inclusivity… being awarded for it." I am sick and tired of people fundamentally misunderstanding statistics in this way. It may be true that on average people of the male sex are stronger than those of the female sex, but this does not translate onto individual persons. While this means that we would expect more people of the male sex in the upper echelons of athletics, an athlete of the female sex, with hard work and dedication, can rise to the same heights. Now, there exists the possible interpretation that the original poster agrees with me and that the current system should be abolished in favor of one based on ability rather than appearance, and I do think the potential issue of trans people in men's/women's sports highlights this issue. However, given the anti-trans rhetoric, I doubt such was intended. As such, agreeing with this tweet is most likely blatant transphobia.

"Japan's longest-running… identify as transgender." Now here is an interesting one. I agree that such a crisis center provides a necessary service, particularly given certain issues I have been told exist in Japanese society. However, transphobic statements could certainly be considered discriminatory and I would not be surprised to learn that Japan has anti-discrimination laws. However, I have also been told that Japan, especially their elder population, places a lot of value in saving face, and therefore this could be an excuse to attempt to stifle a voice addressing societal issues. Therefore, this is what I would to call a clusterfuck. But given the context of the earlier highlighted posts, many may conclude that agreeing with this tweet is likely discriminatory.

Now, the point of a convention is to make money. The show organizer wants to increase ticket sales and those setting up booths/panels/whatever want as many people to see them as possible either for direct sales or for marketing. So this comes to their attention. As an FF14 oriented convention, the target audience is the FF14 community, which I suspect tends towards the more liberal end of the political spectrum. If they are seeing this, then so is the community. It is reasonable to project the communities reaction to and opinion of these tweets to be negative. Some of those in the community might now decide to not purchase a ticket. This decreases expected revenue and is therefore likely to be cut. This is called Public Relations.

'Cancel Culture' isn't really a thing. PR has been a very important facet of the standard business model since we invented capitalism. It has become much more noticeable in recent years due to increasing prevalence of the internet in daily life. The internet puts the sum total of human knowledge at everyone's fingertips 24/7 and its records persist. If you have any level of fame, you must be conscious of what ends up on there for the world to see. Those who can't or don't get filtered out. This isn't new. Celebrities and politicians have entire teams of people who help them manage this and make sure they stay ahead of any scandals.

TLDR: Know your audience, control your narrative. PR is more important than ever in the digital world. Those who don't play the game will lose every time.

  4. Fortunately kupocon is an unofficial "fan convention" and this doesn't have any effect on her status with the game. The Japanese dev team is generally pretty uninterested in Western politics.

  5. As much as I love the FF14 community, there are a lot of libbed out woketards in the game who are ruining the game as well. They are the loud minority that are screaming for jobs/classes to be easier, so their smooth brains can compute a 123 rotation. They are also the loud ones in the RP community, and also the reason why I no longer participate in RP venues or events, unless it's being held in the Japanese servers. You're constantly walking on eggshells in the NA servers, it's suffocating.

  7. to add some more details she didn''t just like conservative tweets she has liked and supported racist and out right discriminating tweets against entire groups of certain ethnicities and minorities
there is screenshot proof of this and she made an excuse of being hacked to then also delete their twitter since she is a public figure or was its problematic for the companies image,
even if it was not pointed out like this square enix would probably take action them selfs

she is in like this weird spot where she has not even been involved with ff14 in over 4 years right now and just uses the community as a way to promote her self to keep relevancy
nothing about her breaths anything positive anymore
