  1. Glad for this release but what ever happened to FF XI Mobile offline ? I was really looking forward to that release 😞. Hopefully SQEX does not end the servers for FFXIV mobile in like 2 or 4 years which seems to be the trend with a lot of their mobile games.

  2. No traducen el juego al español para que llegue a más gente pero si que ponen el juego para jugar desde el móvil… También te digo que clase de persona jugaría un juego así desde el móvil?

  3. I have to ask… who is this for?

Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE FF14, it’s easily my favorite MMO, but I don’t see any point to this. If people wanted to experience the game, they can either play it on PC or on a PS4/5, and the console itself would be far cheaper than getting a new phone that can properly handle the game.

A new iPhone costs over a thousand bucks, while even the PS5 Pro costs cheaper than that!

So I truly cannot comprehend who this is for.

  4. This could mean 2 things, 1 it becomes p2w or some cringe shit, but I doubt that'll be the case. 2 It becomes more free to play, and by that I mean free players will be able to create parties and add friends but will still have to pay for sub for other premium features like joining an FC or trading. The 2nd thing would be nice ngl. The 3rd thing is that nothing changes, the game remains free limited trial, but will still need to pay for sub to play the game the way god intended.

  5. So long as they don't do what Riot did, where the mobile version got all the visual upgrades the base game needed and it gets a ton of exclusive and much better skins that never make it to the actual PC version, all cause Riot is trying to use fomo to get PC players to flock to the Wild Rift where they can make even more money.

If FFXIV Mobile is just a copy paste of FFXIV onto mobile then whatever, it won't affect me to not play it and it might give more people the chance to enjoy the game that for some reason only play mobile games, but the moment it starts to get MORE shit then what the base game gets then we're gonna have issues.

  6. This is pretty neat and I hope its good. Will be a fun way to replay the story. But I cant help but feel the money used to hire an external studio to make this would be better spent on more devs working on the actuall mmo

  7. Yoshi-P is a mad man but I have learned to trust the process. "In the third quarter of 2023, 70% of online users in the US played video games on their phones, compared to 42% who played on consoles" for some countries the percentage of mobile gamers is closer to 90. If this works it could really pour money into the studio and then Yoshi-P can make FFXIV in real life.
