  1. so after waiting for half a year for some nice crafting stuff. we get this…… making something that is even more grindy then ARR relics feels kinda insulting after getting no good contant for over half a year.

  2. Only way I'd do it is if they did some form of level-sync to stop trained eye giving these more an "ultimate" feel to them, otherwise might as well just wait until the next expansion.

  3. Personally, I doubt trained eye will work for these. I have a feeling TE will be reworked or removed when the expansion arrives. Obviously it's just my opinion. But doing these @ 90 will make them a bit easier for sure

  4. Getting all the crafter relics was chill af; even the final step with those “lite” expert recipes (haven’t done proper experts since I chose cheap melds just to craft new gear).

    But this… this is stress…

  5. Same, gonna buy the mats for now then do these in 6.0. The amount of crafts you need to do these and the difficulty of it with them being worse than relics is not worth the time investment.

  6. the other thing that was strange about these, I pulled up my achievements menu and accepted all of the gatherer tools in a matter of seconds.

  7. Now just make these kinds of crafts sellable and worth a lot and I'll be happy….for example let us craft the gold beast tribe mounts with this difficulty and then we can sell to the players that wanna spend that crazy gil

  8. if my math is correct, getting max collectability on all your crafts you'll only need 30 component A materials to start, but getting min. on all, you would need a whooping 240 materials to start. People that have grinded the Ishy experts can maybe tell you the likelihood of getting max collect. with an optimal rotation over the longhaul

  9. I feel like they should have made these the offhand tools. Some crafts use the animation and do not show my skysteel tools (i.e. Armored Pliers). Would have also made crafters want to get them because it would not compete with their Skysteel tools.

  10. For me, this system has 2 big flaws:

1 – Tedious over Difficult. Let me explain why.

The items are difficult to craft? For a newcomer or a guy that used mostly macros? YES. Of course. For someone that had bad ping since heavensword and got used to manual craft each and every recipe: no, thats pretty much the norm with a little more difficulty and a lot of rng.

Most of the craft is rng manipulation and trying to score at least the score for the item exchange, you may find 1 round of perfect pliat and Primed. But you will find a LOT of rounds with nothing, not even 1 proc. Lets not talk about the rounds wasted on Rapid Synt not working at all, even on centered.

You get the buffs? Its far more easy to get 1 item
You dont get the buffs or enough collectability? Restart from Grade A > B and then retry Grade C.

1 – The quantity over quality, I know it seems like a joke as we are talking about expert recipe that cant be exchanged if you dont reach a specific quality.

On a perfect series of crafts with the min required for the item exchange, you will need to craft: 240 Grade A, 120 Grade B and 60 Grade C. —> 1 single class out of 8.

As of today, i would have prefered to have (only) 60 Grade C difficulty items as the only option. Mainly because reaching 7k collectabilty aint a joke with todays set, even pentamelded.

Wait 6 months, get the new crafting set and this thing will become a joke as long as they dont synch our stats to a max value like synched dungeon and min itemlvl do.

  11. "Im gonna wait til level 90 to one-shot them" EXACTLY my thought xD That and all the 500k of Ishgard. Too much work. I ranked, I did my 500k on 2 crafter, 2 Gatherers, all my Skybuilder tools. I get it. lol If they weren't so underwhelming stats wise maybe, but its just for glam. Too much work. It would make me hate crafting xD Also the difference between how easy gatherers are vs crafter is jarring.
