You cannot craft savage gears but you can craft armors close to it but savage armors are still better.
Nope, you can't craft Eden gear. Raid only! Hope you get that e12s clear before Endwalker. Looking forward to your reaction about the fight! Ninja chidori coming soon!

Hello! I would like to know If the game have big Dragons and Wyverns to fight on the wilderness, or these types of creatures only appears as bosses? (Sorry for my bad english).
Its totally cool to focus on a single game for a while. After all, when you go look at other games again, there'll probably be some new content.

As a veteran, watching you guys go through this reinvigorated me for this game. After 8 years of it, I forget those wonderful journey. I see sprouts running around killing bugs for their first quest. Sometimes hearing criticism about that experience and here I am thinking they have no idea how you will look back at this humble beginning when you face Hades later on. You feel like you earned the Hero status. And we have more to go in the next expansion! Speaking of that, I think Thancred is a good candidate for death. Also, if I remember correctly, Master Matoya once said to Y'ishtola that seeing aether with eyes drains her very life. Since then, she has also been a ticking time bomb. And not to mention the twins and how they are treated in the past Final Fantasies. To be honest, anyone can get the axe.
At this point, it would really be hard to make Y'shtola's death meaningful, because absolutely no one would believe it was real.
Yeah, even 7 years later I still think ARR is good. You didn't start as a hero, you just keep pushing through until you become one. The realistic flow makes the game very easy to relate with and emotionally attached.

People want to watch new players play the story stuff so much because it's the closest you can ever come to experiencing it again for the first time. We're all addicts for that feeling now.

As a GW2 player, it's good to hear you make the key point: FFXIV just has that special captivating something, and GW2 is somehow lacking that hook. I could easily put up a solid wall of text as to how GW2 falls just a little short of where it could be in so many places, but it all comes back to the 'captivating' thing anyways.
Glad to see you (and so many others) enjoying this! As for me, I feel like I've grown out of the FF franchise. Even as a teenager I found FF writing incredibly shallow, and the problem imo has only grown worse over time (and XIV doesn't seem like an exception at all, despite how much you and so many others love the storyline). My theory is that the sub-par story seems so good because the gameplay is good and the game setting is captivating, not the other way around.

GW2 and FF14 both share the traits of a welcoming community and the "you don't have to play it all the time" mentality, which make them a great pair of switching between both of them.
I am not so much into dungeons and raids and enjoy having a lively open world, which is why I am prefering GW2, but I like the classes and story in FF14 very much as well
Watching your content and your journey has been enjoyable as fuck. You mentioning GW2 actually got me to download it again- I’d played briefly like 7yrs ago and had some characters there but I never got too deep into the game(my highest lvl characters were lv18, lv12) because I’d really got into it to play the game with people and when they stopped playing so did I.
FF14 though was different. I got into it because around the end of StormBlood a few months prior to ShadowBringers because of the announced NieR Raids and the FF15 event. Two games which I enjoyed- even if FF15 has some rather blatant and outstanding flaws.
I found myself sucked into a game and community and more with FF14.
Hearing how you were taking your time to play FF14 as it’s intended to be played, made me happy and think that if there’s a game you enjoyed I’d consider checking it out. Hearing you were originally from GW2 made me want to check out the game again. I’ve not played it much again but I do have it installed and should you ever make some content on GW2 I’d be happy to check it out. And when they launch End of Dragons I’ll be here to see if you have any content for GW2.

Complete opposite for me, went from FFXIV to GW2.
The login and queue boss is going to be ridiculous for Endwalker.
For Eden stuff, everytime you kill the boss you get 2 books, you can exchange 4-8 of them to make gears so youre guaranteed to get your BiS
Thats why I love this game , It's not because things I need to do today but what things I want to do today.

the thing is… just play what u want to play, enjoy what u want to enjoy.

As a crafter, you can't craft at quite THAT high level, but the highest Eden Tier gear is 535 and the crafted gear can get to 520, so even crafted gear isn't BAD.
The first expansion launch is always incredible, I wish you luck! ❤ Mine was Stormblood, there will be a lot of queues and a lot of servers that go wrong, but I think the fact that you're surrounded by so many other people that are as excited to progress as you makes it very memorable and fun.
It's been a joy watching your progression through the story and how you've developed as a player. Tackling savage already! It took me 5 years to try it, I started as a Gatherer main. 🤣 (now I'm a dps greedy healer…. LOL)..
