Your guide has really helped me get a handle on these expert crafts. I was using a rotation that used more Prudent Touch and no Hasty Touch at all, but your video (and my trial synths with it) have shown me that there's a lot to be gained with using Hasty Touch. Thank you
Great timing! It's my first time doing the ishgard foundation event, so doing the grade 4 expert recipe was a daunting task for a first timer. It took me 10 trial synthesis, but I finally got the hang of it with a minimum of 7000 quality! Prudent spam was the winner for me, as was the usual GS, inno, and Byregot's finisher.
would it be possible to have like a macro to hit the minimum deliverability for it? trying to farm scripts 🙁 tyvm
Hey Ashe, great helpful video as always =) I have a question about something I'm struggling with. I keep getting unlucky with Malleable, either it's not appearing (even with Delinations), or the Rapid Synths are failing before the end of the craft. So I usually end up with decent Quality, about 4-5K, but I've only been able to get the initial Rapid Synth off. Is there anything at all I can do towards the end of the craft to save it, or is there like a cut off point where I need to focus on the progress instead? Or do I just have to accept my loss =P

Is a method starting with Reflect and just using incidental Malleable conditions viable?
When do you use Waste Not II vs Waste Not I? When I have Pliant or Primed, I'm never sure which one to use. I'm not really sure when to use Innovation vs Waste Not I/II, also.
Thank you so much for this!! I've been going about this the wrong way and making it infinitely harder for myself. Completely missed that hasty on a full 11 inner would increase quality significantly. Was trapped trying to get patient touch to work for me and get to 11 asap so that I could pop off at least 2 great stride/inno/byregots. But of course RNG is a fickle fickle thing and so I found myself raging more often than not. Excited to try this out for myself!!
edit I can happily say I'm now able to make these successfully 80% of the time. Thank you SO much!!

Best guide I've found yet on this. Haven't hit under 6800 yet on my successes (I have way less control than Ashe so that's why xD). Also I've only had to trash one or two for my own mistakes lol.

im doin experts atm for my 510 relics but im getting centred and no primed or malleable did they revert back to the old expert crafting system for relics?
Do you have macros for the Grade 4 non-expert recipes? I have no idea what I'm doing with these. I try my regular standard rotation and my collectibility doesn't go high enough. Without food my Craftsmanship is 2633 and my Control is 2347. Still working on making my Aesthete's set so my stats are low atm I think.
Will this work for the final step of crafter relics?
I just returned to the game recently. How soon is the next upgrade for crafting and gathering gear? Don't want to overmeld then learn better gear is coming soon after.
I just spend a half hour crafting these, with a fully melded set of armor, full of materia, with the CRP primary weapon being the skysteel relic, and the 2nd being the Handsaint's ilevel 500 weapon…… I crafted 6, of which only 2 qualified for being submitted.
…. this does not look promising 🙁 I'm basically 7,000/50,000 for the minion….
Where do you find the Grade 4 Artisanal Skybuilders' Log? For me it just shows up as Lv. ??? The Diadem, I can't find it anywhere in there. Do you need a different book or something in order to make it findable?
When it comes to using which ability depending on condition on each specific step, i get lost…. "Oh its sturdy, so use this" but what if it wasnt sturdy on that step.. Know what i mean? Every video i watch seems to be this way.
Do you generally only want to manipulation/waste not on a primed buff and then just spam hastys till you get it?
