By far the worst "Last Fanfest" Keynote in a Long Time. Aside of the new Job,Trailer and the new Cyberpunk Area ive expected way much in Terms of Overall Gameplay.
-No Informations about new Server Structure (Cloud Server Stresstest for what?)
-No Overall new Gameplay Features
-Vierra Headgear???
-Not even a Sneakpeak for DRG/AST Rework (even i expect these on the Media Tour)
-Whats with the New "Mechanic/Whiteboard" Thing that was announced at the US Fanfest?
-Not admitting the current Problems lots of Streamers already talked about (Dead PF's in specific DCs due to DC Travel)
I'm getting more and more frustrated with the Game. I love the Story and i love Raiding/Hard Content but Dawntrail as a complete new Story Arc would be the perfect beginning for some drastical Gameplay Changes to keep the Loop fresh.
-Revamping Crossclass Actions with Stormblood
-Removing the TP System with Shadowbringers
-Removing Belts with Endwalker
All these were massive Changes but with Dawntrail i get the feeling its exact the Same but just in a Differend Setting.
As a point of information, the untranslated bit at the start before Kate came on stage was about the recent Sea of Japan Earthquake.
Just a bit of well-wishing, and informing that SE is working with folks impacted to make sure refunds, cancellations, etc are appropriately handled.
Not a huge fan of Pictomancer choice. I was really hoping for Geomancer begging for it even. And melee was hoping for Corsair or some kind of Pirate class gun and sword. Overall a let down for me. However I appreciate the effort they put out, and I really hope they can bring fresh air to the loot system, and new types of content that people are motivated to complete and have fun with
The TMNT shirt Yoshi-P wore really did a good job or teasing both jobs.

2: Yoshi-P deciding to throw Esthar, Cocoon, Cyberpunk 2077, Mass Effect, Star Ocean, and Phantasy Star all into a couple of zones and a raid.

As a German, I agree. They have to translate EVERYTHING. Even character names. It's so annoying. Worse if the translators fantasize whole new words for it when the literal translation doesn't fEeL rIgHt.

First thing I am doing is isntalling a mod that moves the swords off the back onto the hips. The sheathe in-game looks absolute fucking garbage. It's on his hips in the trailers. WHY the fuck is it on our back in-game? Looks like dogwater.

Picto might drag me away from red mage for a while. Lots of exciting stuff coming. I know ffxiv content doesn't usually generate much traction for your channel compared to souls and monhun, but the tens of us that watch it appreciate it 😂
