Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker Reaction – Its on THE MOON!?
Square Enix hosted a Final Fantasy XIV showcase which gave us all a look at the upcoming expansion, Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker and from the looks of it, it seemed like its on the moon.
The new Final fantasy XIV endwalker trailer being as epic as it was gave us a look at the future of FF14 and what we can expect from the upcoming expansion. I personally have not had a chance to jump into the MMORPG, however what I do know is that there is a super passionate but awesome community behind it and my endwalker reaction shows this.

Love the video dude! In answer to your question, the expansions all link! So start from the beginning 🙂 and thank you for the shout out man!
To expand on it: Endwalker is the fifth expansion and will finish the arc that started on 2.0 (a Realm Reborn, which is the ‘original’ game after the failed one) This is the culmination of the story so far: they already said that after this one there’s gonna be more, but it’s gonna be new storylines. The game is totally enjoyable as a ‘single player’ experience, the story is just THAT good (albeit the start of it is a bit slow until the first expansion, Heavensward.). I totally recommend playing through it – if you play a lot you should take three-ish months to play through the entire story, one of the best plotlines (especially the second and fourth expnasions, heavensward and shadowbringers) ever written for a videogame.

If you buy the latest Expac, you get all the previous ones.
XIV is a story-driven game, to access the content of the lastest expac doing the story is Mandatory.
Want to play Endwalker? You'll go through A Realm Reborn (base game),Heavensward (1st Expac),Stormblood (2nd Expac) and Shadowbringers(3rd Expac) Main Story first.
Yeah, as others have stated, if you buy the newest expansion you get all the previous ones as well. The game has a free trial that you can download that allows you to play the game up until level 60. With one character you can unlock most of the jobs so you can get a feel for them to find the one that you really like. The storyline for the game is AWESOME! The combat might seem slow in the beginning, but if you hang in there, it gets WAY better.
You can buy a story and level skip but you would miss a ton of context.
