  1. I can say without a doubt, that this is one of the best games I have ever played in my life. The cumulation of years of story, epic bosses and glorious soundtrack. A almost perfect implementation of the heroes journey.

Its an experience I wont soon forget and cant wait what yoshi P and his team have in store for us next.

  2. I genuinely love that Damiani basically says "this is one of the greatest experiences in gaming" but then still gives it a 9.5 because he doesn't want to seem biased. Just give it a 10 Damiani!!! We know you want to!!! 😂💕

  3. The story is a masterpiece that brought the tale full circle from A Realm Reborn to Endwalker and blew me away completely. I thought Shadowbringers could never be topped and especially towards the end of this expansion, I was completely wrong. This game will tug at every emotion possible and leave you satisfied. Seriously, I dropped almost every game since I started playing late last year. I just can't put it down. Yoshi P and the dev team did an amazing job and deserve all the recognition.

  4. The only issue for me with Endwalker was the insane amount of escort missions in the MSQ. It was nice early on but then they just kept abusing it throughout the expansion. The tailing missions I did not mind as much since it was used sparingly. But yeah the constant babysitting of NPCs felt tedious.

  5. Did they advertise this game well when it first released years ago?
For me this has always been one of those numbered final Fantasy games that werent events, that no one paid attention to bc it was a throw away MMO.

Not until now am I hearing that this might be as legitimate and story focused as any of the MAINLINE Final Fantasies but it definitely hasn't been marketed this way or got as much fanfare so I'm just confused.

I may have jumped in had I know it was a real story but too late and overwhelming now

  6. I bought a ps4 in 2019 just to play this. I took half a year break between expacs and just finished Endwalker 3 days ago.
Getting into FF14 was probably one of my best decisions in life. I'm a huge final fantasy fan and I have played most of them but I have to say 14 is my favourite. It just has the best and most massive story!

  7. Although I have enjoyed EW I have to say that I wasn't very impressed with the story. I won't spoil it, but they did a few things that will almost always kill any story for me.

  8. XIV developers really understands why Final Fantasy was such a huge success between FF1-FF10 and make sure XIV have the same ingredients. One of the best games I’ve ever played.

  9. Honestly love the easy allies reviews for ff14 cause they actually like….PLAY the game. Not just play it for a few months to get a well written review out, they legitimately play it on their own time and know what they're talking about. TEA weapon alone proves this, as do the literal hundreds of times I've seen Avatar Korra over the years in duties, bozja, roulettes, and all types of content. Honestly the best reviewers for 14, hands down

  10. Endwalker managed to do something that other pieces of media usually fail at. Ending a long running storyarc in a satisfying manner without invalidating the previous story. Even better endwalker managed to do the rare feat of elevating the previous story and characters (especially shadowbringer). Compared to how often in the MMO genre nowadays sequels and expansions bumble and fall and even try to retcon and invalidate their past what ffxiv did was make full use of the continuous nature of MMO's to deliver a story that is one of a kind.

  11. I am pretty sure that this game has an amazing story, but I just don't like the way it looks or plays. I played every FF game except for 11 and 14, though I tried them. MMOs just aren't for me, I guess. I wish there was also a single-player game that tells the story, so I could experience it as well.
