  2. RE Flying: It was not in the original game at this point for these zones at all, it was only added years later (after there was already flying in later expansions). Since the zones weren't designed this way, they had to add textures and models to areas that were out of LoS from the ground, and of course they couldn't retro the story to make it consistent either. When it comes to doing endgame grinds, like dailies, relic weapons and gathering, flying is more than convenience, it makes them actually viable for the time investment compared to later conten.
