I didn’t want to progress the main story any further until I was feeling well enough to stream, so I went a little wild doing crafting and learning how to play a blue mage. 💙
I really enjoy figuring out Masked Carnivale stages. I had to pause for a while on the second phase until I had acquired Sharpened Knife and Fire Angon, because Azulmagia casts Repelling Spray which reflects magical damage. My only physical attack up to this point was 1000 Needles which is too slow.
It took me several attempts to figure out how to avoid Meteor in the final phase. Loom immediately sprung to mind, but the description for Loom specifically says that you cannot use it while bound, and it didn’t seem to work when I clicked out of the range of Meteor. I tried Exuviation to remove the stun (didn’t work), spamming damage to kill him before the cast (not possible), then finally went back to Loom and realized that I was able to use two smaller warps to escape. The rest was just being aware of Azulmagia swapping between physical and magical damage reflection.
