  1. 1:04 SPOILER:

I… I JUST realized who he was while Dan was talking to him. I mean, I remember him showing up later in the storyline but I never seemed to realize HE was the one who started you on this quest. That magnificent bastard…

  2. Man. They really made this easier. Glad they did. Waiting for specific FATEs in those areas was annoying. Raids were fun, though. And we get G'raha Tia. What a nerd. Had no idea when I first played this raid series that it was a FF3 reference as I've not played any FF game besides this and 7 Remake.

  3. …waitwaitwait. THIS is the G'raha Tia I've heard of so often (if only through vague secondhand reference)? The most extra catboy in Mor Dhona?

…can't say this is what I was expecting.

  4. Dullahans are an interesting creature. Derived from celtic folklore if I recall.
Terrifying creatures, that carry their disconnected head under one arm. The head is usually quite decayed, with a wicked grin still on its putrid face.
If I'm not mistaken, the headless horseman is based off this monster.

  5. Who's the mad man with the master plan? It's Dan!

Archeology it exudes an air of the ancients. Annoying new arrivals, and alongaged side quests aren't so bad as to arrest my attention from such an accumulation of… sand…

    ah i love doing that

so Dan! i havent commented in a while, I've been distracted playing elden ring. but i wanted to assure you that i am ever so grateful you took on this undertaking. keep it up.

  6. So you used to have to do WAY MORE running around. Each crystal required you to grind very certain FATEs (those world quests that Dan runs into sometime) for drops. And there were fetch quests… So many fetch quests sending you all over Eorzea and back.

So glad these have been streamlined. Unlocking Crystal Tower "attunement" was the biggest continuous grind (as in not dailies or weeklies) in the game outside of Relic Weapon quests.
