I think little Durmin here might have missed his true calling.

You have such an upbeat attitude that it makes any playthrough fun. I understand the beginning is slow but as someone who has 0 experience with mmorpg, it's been fascinating to just see how everything works. This continues to be a fun journey! Thanks!
Yeah, still loving this idea!
Even after playing this game since the 2.0 days it is still a joy to watch Dan take us along for the journey.
* I am quite pleased with the affluent alliteration advocates around the farm.
* I hope you are gifted later on with raid companions that know how to avoid AoE attacks, because…so many do not.
* I'm glad we're starting to get more into the main storyline now, even if it's just brief glimpses.
i never saw the uldah staring missions…
don't feel like i was missing much!
but they aren't all that bad.
I love it when Dan gets distracted to admire mmo randomness. It adds so much charm
I see that inbetween sessions, Durmin has aquired a fair bit of gil for himself. I hope the syndicate hasn't gotten their greedy paws on our good boy, who knows what they'll have him do!
Man though, I shouldn't be surprised to see some names pop up, but I am. Early ARR is slow, but I cannot help but be impressed with how they slowly feed the setting to us. Some of these lines seem throwaway, but with hindsight it's more that we're laying a strong foundation for events to come.
Did Dan earn 1.5M gil between the time of ep1 and ep2 doing side quests? Maybe money can be shared between characters…
"Oh good you're still here!"
Has a thousand more views than Metroid Dread video that released an hour before
I think this bad idea is confirmed as something people want.
If this saving the world thing doesn't work out maybe you can open a snack bar?
I've actually done a lot of leves over the years. They're a great way to level up a second… or third… or eighth job. Or your crafting and gathering classes, especially before they turned up the XP gains.
The quest division works fine. Keep going. This one grinds slow but true.
Not the car driving by!!! I can just imagine a player going "this is my steed… Vroomvroom… the most mighty of mounts"
Humble Durmin with Humble beginnings
Don't care about FFs, don't care about MMOs, would die for the tiny FF MMO man.
So while guildleves kinda suck for leveling combat classes, they are AMAZING for leveling crafters and gatherers. They are also a huge source of gil too, they are so good for making money in fact, SE is actually nerfing the triple turn-in type leve quests in End Walker.
"Does everyone speak this way?" Yes, actually. Lalafell are quite quick to quip with alliteration. It's actually really endearing.
As we liked to yell at each other in the guild in WoW, 'Stay out of the fire!'
All hail our hero, deliverer of snacks!
I've seen some ridiculous mounts in this game, but I still did a double-take when I saw the convertible casually driving out of Copperbell Mines.
I am maybe alone in saying this, but: I DO wish you'd talk at least SOMEWHAT about the combat and mechanics to any extent.
lol at the 1,000,000 gil. looks like durmin's adventuring on dads money
As someone who (unfortunately) skipped all of the cutscenes and the story in A Realm Reborn, I am really enjoying this series so far, and I'm excited to see it continue!
0:56 Dan, don't disrespect the delightful dialogue with derision. Alliteration and/or assonance always adds awesome apeal. Learn to let the lovely little loquacious Lalafells lighten your life.
Man, these quests remind me well of why I stopped playing MMORPGs in general.
Thank you so much for expediting the process of "getting to the good stuff".
just had a thought and I donno if it's worthwhile, but I was thinking maybe it'd be nice to put the level range of the quests you do (example; 8-16) in the title, I think that'd help a lot for archival, people coming in and wanting to watch a specific part of the story!
As a 1.0 player, my legacy characters all have chocobo shoes which reduce the cool down on sprint to 20 seconds while in a town.
Why not make a Glamour of the starting armor?
