I think little Durmin here might have missed his true calling.

  1. You have such an upbeat attitude that it makes any playthrough fun. I understand the beginning is slow but as someone who has 0 experience with mmorpg, it's been fascinating to just see how everything works. This continues to be a fun journey! Thanks!

  2. * I am quite pleased with the affluent alliteration advocates around the farm.
    * I hope you are gifted later on with raid companions that know how to avoid AoE attacks, because…so many do not.
    * I'm glad we're starting to get more into the main storyline now, even if it's just brief glimpses.

  3. I see that inbetween sessions, Durmin has aquired a fair bit of gil for himself. I hope the syndicate hasn't gotten their greedy paws on our good boy, who knows what they'll have him do!

Man though, I shouldn't be surprised to see some names pop up, but I am. Early ARR is slow, but I cannot help but be impressed with how they slowly feed the setting to us. Some of these lines seem throwaway, but with hindsight it's more that we're laying a strong foundation for events to come.

  4. I've actually done a lot of leves over the years. They're a great way to level up a second… or third… or eighth job. Or your crafting and gathering classes, especially before they turned up the XP gains.

  5. So while guildleves kinda suck for leveling combat classes, they are AMAZING for leveling crafters and gatherers. They are also a huge source of gil too, they are so good for making money in fact, SE is actually nerfing the triple turn-in type leve quests in End Walker.

  6. As someone who (unfortunately) skipped all of the cutscenes and the story in A Realm Reborn, I am really enjoying this series so far, and I'm excited to see it continue!

  7. 0:56 Dan, don't disrespect the delightful dialogue with derision. Alliteration and/or assonance always adds awesome apeal. Learn to let the lovely little loquacious Lalafells lighten your life.

  8. just had a thought and I donno if it's worthwhile, but I was thinking maybe it'd be nice to put the level range of the quests you do (example; 8-16) in the title, I think that'd help a lot for archival, people coming in and wanting to watch a specific part of the story!
