One thing video didn't cover for brevity and because it was comedy oriented is how transparent Yoshi-P likes to be with the players, really getting into discussing the technical side of things and development hurdles in annual community letters.
A lot of the existing problems and requests he wants to address apparently seem to always come back to the remnants of the spaghetti code of FFXIV 1.0 that linger.
