The relationship between Square Enix and Xbox might finally be blossoming after the announcement that Final Fantasy 14 would be coming to Xbox Series X and S and with lots of talk about a positive future by Phil Spencer between the two companies. Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart seemed to split the gaming community regarding the SSD claims and the performance of the PS5 following the PC release, the Playstation 5 hit a massive 40 million sales milestone and Remnant 2 seems to be making waves for many.

it's clear the series s was a mistake because the reality is , if they only released the x , customers would essentially be forced to buy it if they want xbox and they absolutely would and would have made more money and had only one skew to deal with
I find it funny that there’s so much discussion about a simple statement talking about previous generations and how this was only possible on the ps5 thanks to the ssd. Like ASA said that statement is true, it was not meant as the series x/s or PC couldn’t do it. But the funny thing about that is it has only been replicated 2 years later on 2 games using direct storage technology. And the developers that have used it are square enix (forespoken) and PlayStation studios nixxes (rift apart). I would have expected Ms first party to show this off first on PC or the series consoles but it’s still MIA.
@ Gaz Bungie was the exception to the organic growth thing because Sony bought them for a specific purpose because they suck at MP & GaaS. Asa is actually correct that this ad more proves it right than anything that Sony has been about organic growth up until the reveal of this ad showing they intend to change somewhat

Xbox is racing to PC market share, still trying to get ahead of Sony’s move towards PC. ABK now becomes their Fortnite money machine IMO.

I am convinced ASA still in his nostalgia of some sort, there is no way D3 has better build choices, maybe he feels that way due to whatever reasons but that’s not factually true, D4 is way way way better than 3 it’s not even a joke, D4 has me hooked to the point I hate playing it because I don’t have the time, I start playing and by the time I’ve done playing it’s 7-10 hours later

It is not just an American thing. Here is just one example. In June 2010, in China, they had to shut down a very large airport for 45 minutes because ufos were flying over the airport. They diverted multiple planes to other airports. It was seen by over 10,000 people and the pilots of the planes.They were also tracked on multiple radar systems and there is lots of news articles and videos of the siting. Look it up the videos are incredible. The same ufos were also seen over Australia and France. If you get time to research, you will find it is undeniable
I don't think that MS will come out with a mid gen console this generation, they have already released 2 SKU's and throwing more power at a problem doesn't work. The consoles are designed to operate at a different optimization level when compared to other platforms like the PC and we haven't seen that this time around. Either console is really using their storage or compression technologies that they were designed to do, it would be amazing to see what the Xbox S could really do if a Dev team had the time to produce a game at 1080p with the X box version supporting up to 4k with extra in game detail. The Xbox S has the same CPU and storage technologies as the X, the GPU is the only difference between the consoles, so why is this so hard; the Dev's just don't have the time as there are too many other platforms to cover. I really miss the old days of gaming, "the 16-bit wars" each with its own Pros and Cons with plenty of fun!

Besides Pixel Remake… I've purchased FF games on Xbox in order to support more SE's games on it.

Final Fantasy 14 will be popular because of the way they are implementing its youcanplayit through all the early content for free and all the expansion the game is free until 11 level 70 it takes pretty long to get to level 70 so the game is free for a long time and then the people who enjoy it will stick in it and pay the money and play the next upcoming expansion… but it's free for a long time level 70 is pretty long

The fan who got excited wasn't an Xbox fan… he's a 10-year loan player in streamer of the game Final Fantasy 14… and he's been advocating for years for the game to come the other platforms because he loves the game so much and wants to play with his friends.. he wants the game to be better and on all platforms so he was flipping out cuz he knew Final Fantasy was going to other platforms and not for Phil Spencer and not for Xbox he's not even an Xbox fan I don't even think he owns an Xbox…. everybody had the complete wring take just cuz he got a little overexcited,, he's passionate and loves the game.. nothing wrong with that…. everyone as a kid sometimes even older has had that same experience…. where they got the one thing they've been yearning for and went nuts…
I think not all content creators who produce ‘low quality/effort’ content do that on purpose or to cut corners. A lot of people are just starting their content creation/podcasts and might not have the technical know-how to edit their videos. Me for example, even if I would like to start a podcast one day, I have no idea how to edit videos, I have no idea what kind of hardware/software I should use and I have no creative expertise to make thumbnails etc. So my point is, the intent might be honest for a lot of people, they just lack the technical skillset.
