  1. There are a couple places in Solution 9 that have a friendly Mu symbol on the building with the text "Give Me Some Ore!" written in the Postulated Proto-Alphabet script that Alexandria uses.

  2. This could be a stretch, but the character of Krille has a reference to Final Fantasy 9 of being a orphan. Both Garnet and Zidane are orphans. Zidane being an orphan from the planet Terra. While, Garnet was an orphan from Madain Sari. Krille has similarities to both of them. We find out that Krille’s linage is from another world like Zidane We find out Krille’s purpose in life just like Zidane and Garnet. In addition, we fine out Krille’s name is Maya by her parents, just like Garnet’s named is Sara by her’s . Also, both parents (Garnet and Krille) were protecting them from harm.

  3. It was disappointing when we played the I want to be your Canary part, they randomly put Vamo'alla Flamenco song in a zip line moment but they didnt put it where it belongs and we didnt play the mini game on the show, making that simple mini game of pressing buttons should'nt be too hard it could be "Press ANY button" and thats it like come one its on a PS1 Game >.>

  4. The start of the everkeep trial. The cutscene is a clear knodd to the start of the "you are not alone" scene in ff9 right down to how zoral ja is sitting in the chair when you find him.

Very nice video bro 9 is my favorite ff so i thoroughly enjoyed this expansion

  5. this was probably just a really cheeky nod, but during the scene after otis sacrifices himself and you are in the backrooms trying to comfort gulool ja, it rings some parallels to the same zidane scene on terra when he learned his origins and tried to distance himself from his friends. In 14, the scene has similarities with gulool ja believing he will only keep losing people he can call family and will always be alone until Wuk lamat assures him "You're not alone" the same name of the same song that plays for zidane when his friends reached out to him (and man i rewatched that gulool ja scene playing that song from 9 and i cried all over again)

  6. I crested the ridge to see the ruins of Archaeo Alexandria and literally had to put the controller down and take a moment to collect myself, it felt like a punch to the gut

  7. Proud of myself for catching most of these references on my own! Some others that I caught (maybe you mentioned them and I missed them)
    – Muu decals in Nexus Arcade
    – Axebeak monster design
    – Reference to a “pointy hat” steeple in living memory that I choose to believe is a reference to the pointy hats as a term for black mages
    – Explicit reference to “I Want to be Your Canary” play name in a living memory side quest

  8. There is a quest involving a historian in Living Memory you encounter who speaks more about the history between lindblum and Alexandria. During which "The Hunt" is mentioned.

There was one other thing that got me wondering…what happened to the burmecians? Given what happened during 9 it makes me wonder if they went extinct.😢

  9. I have a feeling Arcadion might lead to a more direct Kuja stand-in, especially since the last two raids have also managed to adapt a legacy boss into Savage. We have animal souls that grant power, but cause short life spans. If we get one that maybe is monkey-like, I could see it happening.

(And how cool would it be if we got Dark Messenger playing using the crowd to provide stamps and claps?)

  11. I will say, a golden opportunity was missed during the solo duty in Solution 9. Mainly when Otis is defending Sphene from harm they could've played Something To Protect instead of the Dawntrail battle theme. Would be been so much cooler imo
