  1. The MSQ still being required to do anything in XIV after a decade of ARR undermines an otherwise nice starting experience. A realm reborn has so many little activities you can do to level and they go largely underutilized.

The sheer incompetence of CBU3 is something I don't know how they have gotten away with.

  2. Another comment because I'm still watching the video:

The PROBLEM with leveling in FFXIV is that jobs are specifically constructed as glorified raid rotations. They are not real classes with real strengths that really vary from one other and play differently. That's why no matter Square Enix does, the leveling process will NEVER feel good period. Not even good compared to other MMOs but it will never feel good by virtue of character/job progression simply not existing.

Leveling squishes wouldn't do anything, the problem isn't the acquisition of abilities, it's the fact almost every ability is a very boring button.

  3. 55:51 Brother seeing people talk about Destiny in such an ignorant way is crazy to me. The loot is the whole point of the game. It's how you customize your gameplay, you know, that thing Final Fantasy XIV doesn't have, customization. The problems with D2 have nothing to do with loot. If anything, we haven't had loot this varied and great in a long time.

1:01:11 Wait, so does loot matter or not matter? Ugh.

  4. I know they prioritize the end game experience and i understand that. I wish they would go and see what the hud meta is and make a few presets to choose from so its not a jumbled mess. As well as presets in settings that a majority of people change anyway. Then they could make a video in game of how to adust stuff in a tutorial section. Also have new player guides in game reworked or added .

  5. I never liked Bungie approach to their expansion model in destiny. In d1 I seen how it works, I picked up d2 hoping they would change it but nope, its all the same. I really hate how they make old content irrelevant and/or inaccessible. I payed for those and its gone. I have no faith in d3 as long as bungie is in charge
