Final Fantasy 14 VS. World of Warcraft is a Topic that’s on a lot of peoples minds because they are two Titans of the MMORPG genre and its not always easy to jump ship from one game to another. In this video I’m going to discuss what I have seen recently both on FF14 servers and in Shadowlands. Grab a Soda and lets do this. Thanks for watching.

people with grean leaf next to their name are called sprouts. I'm one of them 😀
The FFXIV big story arcs are plotted out years in advance, and the side storylines largely weave around the core arc.
Great video
That is a good take on emerging new mmo on the way. Good thing final fantasy games have a loyal fan base, mostly due to the fact the developer actually cares about the game and listen to their fans, keep improving the game. They don't abuse their fans trading it for profit, the good track record made them what they are today, lets hope it continues this way.
Do you think WoW is salvageable with just updates, or would Blizzard be better off spinning off a WoW 2?
As a ffxiv player I find it so baffling that pretty much all previous expansion story and content is rendered completely useless in wow. It’s like a culture shock to me. In ff you level and experience everything, and thankfully especially after A Realm Reborn it’s amazing.
In the meanwhile, we cry for our villains and question our own morality. If you love lore, stick with FFXIV. I have seen quite of few leave FFXIV who's going through ARR. But I very seldom see any leave when they reach Heavensward. So basically, the no point of return is Heavensward. By the time you get there, you'll probably be hooked too.
That is definitely one of the biggest differences between the games – In FFXIV, every bit of the story matters. There is zero need to rush because the game starts at Level 1, not at Endgame.
I played WoW from early Wrath to Early BFA – had at least one of every class at max level at the end of Mists, WoD and Legion.
2014 – Garrisons introduced in WoD
You have Everquest II on your shelves. The nostalgia!
Dude!? You are asking them to hire, BUTT! think about this: What if Blizzard fires 800 people and give Bobby Kotick all off the money instead? Wouldn't that be a better idea?
