  1. Well HSR is a semi-open world. You do get to roam the world and open some chests. The worlds are indeed quite vast. But the player is VERY limited in the places that can be visited. For one the player cannot jump lmao.

At it's core HSR is more focused on its storytelling/characters/strategy while Genshin is more focused on immersive gameplay/worldbuilding

  2. if you’ve played pokémon arceus the open world elements are similiar like that with zones, maybe a lil smaller but loads more of them! there’s 3 worlds & i’d say about 10 zones in each! and the events are thankfully replayable unlike genshin 🥲

  3. Nice nice, someone who actually does proper reactions and not part 1-29812 😉

  4. The 1.4 trailer you watched is for the next patch that is coming. We're still currently in the 1.3 patch for now. That's also why that trailer had characters you hadn't seen trailers for yet, they tend to drop the trailers JUST before the characters release.

  5. Honestly, though there's a lot, you should react to honkai impact's character trailers. If you want a teaser, look up cyberangel for honkai impact's herrscher of reason. I think you'll quite enjoy it

  6. The Woman with the blindfold is Jingliu and coming out at 11th Oct. The following is as spoiler free as possible explaining who that blind fold lady is that you asked for.

The Xianzhou people (the chinese-like characters like the general and the diviner pink hair girl) are very long living (thousands of years) and in the past had like a tag team of heroes called the "cloud quintet" we know more about 4 of the 5. One was the emo sword dude who swore revenge ("out of five, three must pay the price"), the other ones were the general (silver hair dude) and the dragon guy (long black hair) as well as Jingliu (blindfold lady) – back then she was the generals superior and master before he became general and is considered to be the greatest swordsmaster of the Xianzhou people (a race living many thousand years). At least 3 of them we know of kinda got tangled into pretty bad stuff a long time ago and made some sins that they now repent for. Shes one of them.
EDIT: One more thing, we currently still dont know a lot of what there is to know about these 5 characters and what happened between them and 1.4 might bring some more lore with Jingliu becoming playable.

  7. As a player of both games (2 years in Genshin and from launch for HSR), I personally prefer Genshin for story telling and world experience. HSR is very turn-based combat focused and there are some…. issues… with story currently. The world is very restricted compared to Genshin, but its not an open-world game and not supposed to be.

There are some retained events, but not all of them and there's still fomo but it is what it is.

  8. For now atleast there's 3 Events (At least What I remember) That was remove in Honkai Star rail. BUT Most of the Events Are still in the game are here especially Story Events. Some you can literally change how the place become. On the Museum and the Business Event (Forgot what the name) you can see the place becoming more populated as you advance to the event
