In some past free login campaigns I believe you could login/activate it on the last day of the campaign and still get your full quota of free days.

If you buy FFXIV, & stop paying the subscription, do you no longer have access to your character to be able to play the Free Trial? I understand you'd be able to play during this "Free Login Campaign" event … but it would be amazing if SE let people to continue playing the free trial, trying different classes, jobs, crafting, gathering, etc. on their main character (locking any of the character's jobs above 70 to 70), or if the game wouldn't be able to do that without a lot of added programing, how about letting them start a new character on the account they bought so they'd have both when they'd start paying their sub.
Does FFXIV let you merge two characters into one character?

On my ps5 it does not work, it says “this account does not have a valid Final Fantasy XIV license for this platform or your subscription has expired “
I have the complete edition on PS5 and have played it no problem before.
