Being honest about it is key, its ok to take inspiration from other games, it just makes it a bit sussy if they try to hide that inspiration, and where it came from, give credit were its due.
Name one thing that is taken from FFXIV.
I can see some gw2 inspiration. Like new flying mechanic. But I don't see a single thing that is related to FFXIV
